Having studied terrorism/counter-terrorism etc, I've always been aware of the difference between Islam and Islamism - as my countless posts clearly show.

Now when it comes to feminist and feminism....... or ethnic and ethnicism... perhaps you need to try that homework I set (due 18th June) and posted on OzPol, and perhaps include a dissertation on Fifth Columns in Oz at this time...

The truth fully studied will surprise and shock you....

As for Islam and Islamism - I merely thought it was time for all to be sure what they are discussing, and sometimes accusing someone of being anti-Islam when they are in fact anti-Islamist is as bad a sin as that of the one making that first mistake..

In that case perhaps the critic needs to review their own interpretation of what is said in the light of the knowledge or otherwise of the sayer... just saying... a mature person seeks to interpret on the basis of date received rather than on actual words used* when dealing with those not steeped in the learning of the subject - an intellectual autist seeks black and white without first defining terms.

* never listen to how a person says something - but what they say, ain' no thang ....

In the 18 years before 2019, there were 31221 attacks in which killed at least 146881 people and according to a reasearcher at University of St Andrews, Islamic terrorism was the most prolific form of non-state terrorism. Most of the victims who were killed in attacks involving 12 or more deaths were Muslims.
