I guess you are totally wrong, now.  You'll just have to suck it up.

wrong about what? he should be in jail. That stands irrespective of this case. This case has nothing to do with his covering up abuse for decades.

Ask the High Court.  They just acquitted him.  Sucks, ey.  There is nowhere to go Mr Smith.  The High Court is the end of the line.  Pell is innocent of the charges brought against him which ought to have been dismissed two years ago.  The High Court has so ruled.

Another interesting thing to me was the complainants lawyers were interviewed on SkyNews today and talked of a civil case against Pell can someone explain how this can occur after todays findings

OJ Simpson comes to mind, did something like that happen with him?

Perhaps our resident lawyers Aussie and BO can explain.

You know as well as everyone does, that is strawman crap.  He was never charged with that.  Hollingsworth was accused of it but never charged.

I don't believe you.  I have never seen anything of the kind posted anywhere.  You seem to be breaching the private information Rule, Mr Neck, but I'll leave that for others to worry about. I will not be reporting it.

Nothing straw man about it. My argument has always been he should be in jail for decades of covering up abuse. I said that from my very first post. You were the one who thinks he being innocent of this charge of kiddy fiddling also means he is innocent of covering up abuse.

No, I heard that he was mucking around with your chickens. He goes to jail for it.  No charge, no trial...straight to jail because I heard about it.

In the wild west he would have  been hanged
after the first trial.

I never thought there was enough evidence -
it was one man's word against another.

but they kept saying that he was a "Credible" witness...  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

how on earth can the victim be a credible witness??

and he changed his story multiple times..

Its like those women who accuse men of rape tha never happened...

"but they seem credible"  Cheesy

No, he did not.  He was consistent.

Quote:
The complainant initially asserted that the two incidents occurred within a few months of each other in 1996.

It transpired that the first time Pell said mass at St Patrick’s was 15 December, rendering this timeline impossible.

The prosecution then changed its story, stating that the first incident occurred in 1996 and the second in February 1997
.

"Multiple times."  Getting a year wrong is hardly noteworthy.

Changing your story to fit the times that Pell was actually in that location at that time is no big deal??

Its any wonder that you are a corrupt, failed, "try hard" solicitor who drives a taxi and eats curryshit sandwiches three times a day...

what a loser..  Grin
