An explosive start from McGregor as he bursts out of the blocks and attempts to rattle Mayweather with a flurry of early punches.

Mayweather's seen it all before though and it doesn't affect him.

That round probably goes to McGregor though.

Mayweather does little to attack, looking to see what his opponent is made of. Very nervous from the American, while McGregor did land a tasty-looking uppercut and has maybe taken round one. Mayweather dives in, thinking he needs to do something, but catches one from McGregor for his efforts. At the end of the round, Mayweather has to defend. McGregor goes back to his corner with a big smile on his face.

A quick shuffle of the feet from McGregor is certainly not what was predicted. The younger man has made a good start, and has so far avoided taking any heavy punches from the American.
