Really - everyone in Queensland thinks she's pretty good?

All 4.7 million?

Are you sure about that?

Is everyone in QLD interacting with her, know her, McTurd?

What's wrong with you?

My nephew's eldest is autistic, and is in first year high school as top of the class in maths and science... he sits with his books at breaks and reads, and was totally surprised when some kid came up and started hitting him for being a 'nerd' - the kid got suspended... the nephew's son is the class captain...

My sister, his grandmother, is very angry over Hanson's comments.

Each to his own and a little tolerance goes a long way....

Perhaps those who dont know her, who are addicted to the anti- properganda and fake news which takes her statements out of context should be more discerning.

She is a fresh voice in politics
She says it as she sees it
Not carefully constructing what she says after being advised by PC experts.

Even in gaol, she was praised by the same people she was purported to have been discriminating against.
She is more human, more honest and more real
Than any of the churned out PC correct politicians we have now
Perhaps that is why they are afraid of her and try to destroy her.
They could never measure up

Her own voting with the Libs is what is destroying her... even the redneckery in Queenslund (you mark my words - they do things diff'runtly up there!).... will one day find out the error of her ways....

I’ve wanted to say this for an awfully long time. bugger you, Pauline Hanson.
Over the last 20 years, I’ve watched you pick on Asians, Muslims, the LGBTQI community and other women, and I’ve silently fumed. Rolled my eyes, gone high while you searched for new lows and found my own way to make the world better. Because there’s no point arguing with people who aren’t fond of facts or evidence (and you proved as much when you argued against vaccination, and actions speak louder than mud slung in anger. For twenty years, I thought the best remedy was to ignore your hate based rhetoric and try to live my life in contrast to the way you live yours.

But this week, enough. Today with two decades of rage under my belt, I say loudly: bugger You, Pauline.
It takes one helluva bigot to wrestle the headlines from the Bigoted Orange Swamp Turd who’s shitting all over the White House, and somehow, you’ve managed to do just that.  You’ve dug through the depths of the most turd filled swamps this week and found a new way to attack a minority group in a feeble and frankly pathetic attempt to remain relevant. You’re not. And every time you open your foul mouth I’m reminded of why.

Yes, there are people that follow you, wash your pustular words away with rationalisations like “Don’t hate me, but I kind of see what she means,” or “It may not be PC, but she’s just saying what people are already thinking.” Congratulations, swamp wench,  you are officially the Pied Piper of Prejudice. You are relevant to the very lowest common denominator within our country: the nose pickers who are easily swayed by populist rhetoric – your personal speciality – without knowing any actual facts. Because facts get in the way for you, don’t they? You know, the fact that vaccines don’t cause autism, that Muslims are more at risk from terrorism than any other group in the world. The fact that sexual assault is a crime (unless you are Donald Trump, your new bestie). Or the fact that children with disabilities don’t compromise their classmates’ learning journeys.

On behalf of those pesky facts and of every group that you have demonised (it’s getting to be a pretty big list) bugger You. Politicians like you are a disgrace to our democracy. Because despite what you think, protecting democracy doesn’t mean calling women’s march participants “fat.” It doesn’t mean isolating people from each other and turning them against one another. It doesn’t mean finding a scapegoat or dividing people in the hopes of getting a little political traction. It doesn’t mean being a media whore. Being a leader is supposed to be about representing everyone. Not just the bigots. It’s supposed to be about standing up for people, not tearing down vulnerable children.

These are children, Pauline. (May I call you that? Actually, bugger you, I’m going to anyway. You don’t deserve a title). Children. And you want to systematically segregate them from the rest of their peers. Why not just make them wear a gold star? Separate water fountains. Back of the bus. Yeah, we all know how well those things worked out.

Whether its neurodiversity or multiculturalism, our differences make us stronger as a country. Being around people who are a little bit different to you is actually a good thing. It teaches you valuable life skills, like humility, grace and not being a complete douchebag. It exposes you to new ideas (crazy concept, I know, since you’d rather live in an era the other side of World War 2). It’s how inventions are conceptualised, knowledge is spread and progress is made. We don’t segregate anymore, Pauline. The White Australia Policy is dead and gone and everyone – especially children – deserves every opportunity our amazing country can offer.

Neurodivergent kids are pretty diverse bunch themselves. There’s no way of labelling them or pigeon-holing them that makes sense. There’s no evidentiary path that actually shows that they distract other kids. And bugger you for thinking there is.  There are real issues in our education system that urgently need attention and your mouth flapping is diverting from the real issues that will help our children. You know, the ones you are paid to create a future for.

bugger cynical politicians like you. bugger people who are so unhappy with their own lives that they’re willing to latch onto some empty, ill-informed, hate spewing harpy like you who diverts attention from the real issues.  bugger anyone who thinks it’s ever okay to marginalise children of any kind, ever. bugger you very much. I’m taking the nasty back. Forgive me, Michelle, Malia & Sasha, I just can’t “go high” today. No, today I’m joining you in the cesspool you call life, Pauline, and I’ll mud wrestle you for the title if I have to.

You want to go low, bring it, you hate-breathing, fear-mongering, bottom-dwelling bitch. You’ve got nothing. No evidence, no solutions to your pretend problems, and nothing intelligent to say on the subjects like neurodiversity and education. Nothing intelligent to say, full stop. bugger you, Pauline. You are the festering boil on the asshole of humanity, and we’re sick of your toxic crap.
THE END

Or against the workers rights she claimed she'd stand up for.

The few things she hasn't back flipped on are the extreme end of the spectrum, the positions she and her party have taken that boil down to bigotry and intolerance, and of course with our friend Malcolm Roberts, the interests of the mining lobby and flat out conspiracy fuelled stupidity.

All of those things are great for her core, but she'll lose what little of the mainstream have given her a go.

1. Sorry....been too busy with family dramas (both little ones are sick with the flu) to post online.

2. Have not read anything in this topic.

3. A few comments IF I may : Autistic kids can be/are properly diagnosed at around age 2/3 onwards. This is impt. Why? Paediatricians jump in and co ordinate a multi disciplanary team of specialists who pro actively work with the child and parents/care givers to train said child and prepare them for mainstream schooling.

In essence : Early detection is the key to manually training said child to LEARN "stuff" which comes automatically to the rest of us.

NB There is an autism spectrum which needs to be considered/mentioned.

Rehab/training etc is dependent on WHERE the child is diagnosed/placed on the autism spectrum.

Heaps of kids are diagnosed as MILD or JUST ON this spectrum.

Our little boy is one of them.

In fact he's HIGH FUNCTIONING and JUST ON the autism spectrum.

This essentially means he's VERY VERY BRIGHT and does not get enough of learning.

He LOVES maths (in fact anything scientific) and is very competitive.

He loves animals (he DEFINITELY got that from his dad).

He's taught himself to read. And he has photographic memory.

Now.....where does Pauline want to put my child when he's ready to start school at age 5?

Anyone know?

I'm asking because I'm not exactly sure.

It's hard to say.  So far she has only made blanket statements saying that from all the people she has spoken to, teachers and parents, they are sick of the autistic children negatively impacting on the other children's ability to learn and they should be removed from these classrooms so they don't disrupt the rest of the class.

Other than anecdotal stories from a well documented liar and her knee jerk reaction to garner the spotlight and be seen to be a "do something" politician, there isn't much more than that, yet.

ahhh Lisa   this is the whole point of bringing this into the open..lets talk about it.. ONE SIZE DOESNT FIT ALL>

I am glad you havent read this thread...its so confusing..

you child would fit beautifully into mainstream...mainstream almost anything...

why because he is stable and wants to learn...a Pauline I am sur isnt talking about children who are there to LEARN   that is the criteria in a stable class room...

as has been mentioned its not only the disabled that distrupt   there are many kids  that go from school to school  just for the hell of it...many I am sure end up in jail....so the system need looking at from the ground up..

ask yourself how would you feel lisa if your child was in mainstream class with another badly affected asd child who was throwing chairs around the room....

would you consider your child was getting the best attention and best schooling..

it isnt as simple as chucking money at it... well I dont think so...

I do have a child in my family awaiting diagnoses he is a beautiful looking boy butter wouldnt melt in his mouth...we are praying for a good diagnose that will see him flourish...at the moment mainstream will not take him..NDIS cant help until we know what is wrong..so all I am saying is   lets look at it from the ground up..... its tough and costly. but as this is a growing problem...at least be happy if its talked about by the very people that can change things..

Hey Cods (and everyone else who's responded since my last post)....you've nailed it.

All kids are different. Even kids with autism are different.

You can't just throw a 1 size fits all approach/solution to this issue.

You just can't.

Some kids have mild autism.....some don't.

Now....here's the thing that gets me cranky.....we all know that those who have serious autism issues currently attend special needs schools. Yes?

So...this must surely mean that Pauline Hanson essentially wants ALL autistic kids....irrespective of where they sit on the spectrum to just leave our mainstream education system.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh and I suppose those kids who suffer ADD/ADHD ought to leave too eh?

These kids disrupt class time too so yep....let's get rid of them too.

And what about kids who have anxiety?

These kids are disruptive too.

Can you all see where this is going?

When/where will this exclusion list end?

How many kids will be left in mainstream classes (or schools for that matter) after we've purged all the disruptive kids out of them???

Exactly.  It's just a shame that so many, especially the Hanson supporters are trying to politicise the issue and paint her one size fits all claims as "opening the discussion".  It was never her intention and it sickens me that she'll get any credit for positive outcomes in this area.

That said, to me that is what is important.  If her idiocy leads to better outcomes for ASD and other students I'll push aside the well deserved disrespect for her and her brand at pat her on the back falling ass-backwards into a positive outcome.
