That's what the research tells us Kanga. That the peers rally around each other. That it teaches patience and empathy. That having inclusive classrooms provides the best outcomes for both the otherly-abled child and their peers.

I reiterate (for the umpteenth time), to allay stress on teachers, we need smaller class sizes and teacher's aides.

And separate classes.

Let the smart kids learn at their pace not at the pace of some special needs kid who is in it for the hugs.

For Aussie and the other goobers...

Quote:
And from Ms Hanson..."These children need special care and attention. They are not getting it in a normal classroom. If they need special care and attention, then give it to them.... In her original statement she said parents and teachers had raised the issue with her of children with disabilities or autism in mainstream classrooms. “These kids have a right to an education by all means, but if there’s a number of them these children should actually go into a special classroom, looked after and given that special attention,“It’s no good saying we have to allow these kids to feel good about themselves and we don’t want to upset them and make them feel hurt. We have to be realistic at times and consider the impact that is having on other children in the classroom.”

Is there a point we say we can't trust parts of the media to report on Ms Hanson. Instead we just get virtue signalling.

mothra is ignorant she is guilty of the same things she likes to blame others for.

Learning is the first priority,

b igole it doesnt take a lot to disrupt a class these days.

the kids can get very noisy   I do not believe the teachers have the same clout they had years ago....

in my day you wouldnt dare move out of your chair without asking permission...and It had better be a good reason...

now they seem to even walk out of the class when they like the teacher has very little control....

and if autism is on the increase

can we    imagine  the holy terrors are doing the same...... OMG.. who would be a teacher

As I said before, if that's the outcome we get, I'll be the first to thank Hanson.

She can still go bugger herself for the rest of the braindead rhetoric she and her party spew, but credit where it is due for bringing the debate into the spotlight.

It's a pity that she has offended so many people along the way.

True to form, but a pity.

T he people she 'offended' would be offended by anything she'd say. PC rots the brain so now if someone says something these perpetually miffed progs disagree with they get 'offended'. Nobody among them can simply have a different view, they must, as a way of virtue-signaling, be 'offended'.

If 29 kids in a class are held up because 1 kid takes up too much of the teacher's time, that's not offensive, that's common sense. Whether that kid is autistic or antisocial doesn't matter, the point is about the 29, not the 1.

Jenna Abrams‏ @Jenn_Abrams  Jun 21

This is what happens when you add the voice over of an old documentary about mental illness onto video of SJWs
And it actually makes sense

as far as I am concerned

why are people talking about pauline?.. the system is what is either good or not so good....how to fix the system   is what it should be about....

this is now almost old news....killed by the rabid I would think!

Australia's entire education system is screwed. We need to go back to teaching hard sciences in order to compete with North East Asia. Far too much leftist, humanitarian bulls.h.i.t.
