That post above yours is word for word four posts above what I'm quoting. Are you uncivilised too?

I was sure there was more in the copied post, but I could be wrong: been busy selling a block of land and buying another one. Booby does have form for carrying info from one place into another, including posts from Critters and Gardens to the Dubyne MRB.

Since “Introduction to AGW” got moved to the Dubyne MRB should not “Cats and Critters topics” be moved to Critters and Gardens? Or is that too fatiguing to what we laughingly call “management” here?

And , yes, “A cleansing summer ale” topic got finished on my fine forum and we are about to go int “Tasting Beer.” This COULD all have been done here but NOT if the topic would get dumped at the barely started stage into Food whose so–called Mod hasn’t posted anything for 2-3 years!

A mod does not have to post. This seems something you do not get but it's in the name. They are there to moderate, not post and answer themselves. As this place is for all people to post and discuss posts, the mod needs do no more than put the brakes on unwelcome crap. One does not need to be an expert on the topic, just a moderating influence on the conversation.

I know you may want to go into a full fledged rant right now but you are wrong in what you think a mod needs to be.

I thank you for unbanning everyone, good move. I'd also like to say that the thread you started about me threatening to ban you was so inaccurate that you were just plain out and out wrong, fibbing. What I said was I have noted your ban lengths and I would take them into consideration if I had to give you a ban. I did not threaten you with a ban. That was also in a PM and If I cared enough could have called you out for sharing PM info.

Anyway, I'll now take into consideration you lifting the lengthy bans on other members. That's a good thing.

But Monk goes above and beyond the call of duty.
He aspires to increase the activity on the MRB
by creating new threads and discussions.
For this he expects a well deserved
pat on the head from those in charge.

And the problem with that is zero except for the last two lines. If Monk could keep his cool he could be a good member here. If he could let go of the past and the bitterness, people would have much more respect for what he has to say and he is knowledgeable in certain areas. Most of us are and we should be able to share that.

He's too emotionally immature to achieve his best possible results.
I think he gets on the drink too.
It's a pity as he does have a lot to offer.

I know men that have lived with their mums their whole lives and they tend to be somewhat immature emotionally. As an example, I had a good mate at school I kept in touch with for years, he became a smacky, face scratcher. I used to do the same as a teen, saw mates die, I moved on, he never did. I was talking to his mum one day many years later when I rang to see how he was going. He was in gaol again. I tried my best to explain that she was enabling him but that ended badly. He was her son and could do no wrong even if his life was a mess, he was a victim. This kind of support from a mother to a son is poison. I have to wonder where Monks father was. He may well be a victim of circumstance.

Agreed. Both are just mass-produced industrial beers. With the boom in craft beers, why bother with that stuff?

When I left the USA years back, that country was the worst in the world for beer drinkers. Today it is the best because of the explosion of craft beer. Even small towns now have a brewery.

Hey, I don't care what libation you choose. I'll drink whatever you want to serve if it's for free. I'd have to say neither Fosters or VB are in the top ten of what I'd like to be served though and I wouldn't buy either.

You didn't watch the video -
you're doomed.

The molecular formula C2H6O (molar mass: 46.07 g/mol) may refer to: Dimethyl ether (DME, or methoxymethane) Ethanol.
