Wifi Extender

I have the office set up in one bedroom and the internet speed is a little sow in that bedroom only. The router is at the other end of the house. I was told a wifi extender would help. There So many out there with such huge price ranges. I'm not very tech savy and I don't want to buy a $500 one when a $100 one will do.

It's really only one pc being run out of that bedroom.

Any recommendations?

It took me a search of the contents to later realise that a card was included for the password and name of the wifi. Sheesh! 3 years of an information tech course and I have not learned much.
