 - Similarly on Bribie Island Frederick Strange, a European naturalist, would later record of the Jindoobarrie people living there: "Unlike most of the natives of Australia as yet discovered, they have fixed habitations, dwelling in little villages of six or seven huts in a cluster. Some of them are of great length, extending upwards of eighty feet, and covering a considerable space of ground .... One of them was in the form of a passage, with two apartments at the end. The arches were beautifully turned, and executed with a degree of skill which would not have disgraced a  European architect. "

In a row along each side that's 25 to 80 ft.  Over 3 ft each, king size bed and they wore fur like aristocrats.

I agree.

So now they had architects designing appartments in 80ft high buildings made of????? with arches that would not have disgraced European architects.
Bwahahahahahaha.

Where did they get the IDEA to design arches?

Surely this is a piss take.
Like I've said previously. I believe there is a sickness at the moment doing the rounds. Its called extreme hindsight disorder.  Grin

Might have meant the village was 80 feet long... a few hut (not house) in a cluster... his use of English would appear to have been poor..

A village was 80 ft long ? A cricket pitch which covers a large area..?
A photo from Grafton NSW shows a house with posts and ridge-pole and palm thatch. Here's an American longhouse about 80 ft.

Have another swig on the goonbag dumbass, it couldn't make any less sense than you are already making  Grin. If anyone is disabled, its the stupid race that use their floorboards to make indoor bonfires in the winter, whilst yelling at each other at 3am in the street piss drunk, not the one that pays the taxes you benefit from Cool
