As for JS.. I have had "run ins" with him before. Nothing major, but I'm not one to pretend I'm taking the moral ground. I used to play peacekeeper, it gets you nowhere. People love the conflict too much. Instead of expecting human nature to change, why not gaze into the abyss of our souls and admit this is the poo we love to do?

Forums and politics today is what gladiators and fighting rings is to the past -- a cowardly way to take jabs at one another without fear of consequence or guilt.

Sorry but you did. You posted a comment that i was Aussie's wife with a picture of Jack Nicholson bashing through the bathroom door in The Shining.

UI had not posted on this forum during your time here up until that point. Well, certainly not to you.

It seems to me you have some ... objective?

I really don't want to think so because i think level heads are desperately needed here if this forum os to have a hope in hell.

John, while he may be abrasive, is honest and fair. He'll tell me to sod off as soon as anyone but that is one of the reasons i stand by him.

And he has made some unassailable points ... to the objective observer.

It seems all it takes to be ostracised here is to take Aussie's side on anything. I know that's how i came a cropper.

I'd hate to see an new impartial observer fall into that trap.
