Nope. That is not what I said. I said that paleo data because of the time spans involved don't show the fineness to assess any variations over small time spans.
I even cited Marcott's temperature reconstruction, he used 300 year smoothing over a 2000 year time span. Now i'll let you imagine what smoothing would be used over a 500,000 year time span. You do understand smoothing means you lose data?

You mean like the recent paper that said all of the warming since 1950 was anthropogenic?

Sunspot activity was low for over 300 years?
The volcano activity one is really strange. It is posited on a 50 year volcanic episode of four eruptions. We know from recent large volcanic eruptions that the effects last possibly as long as four years. It leaves a long time span that is not covered.
