Nope. You are from Bank West? That may be a spoonerism.

It is also a problem in manufacturing neodymium magnets, and many other things.

Do you think St Elon the Just, will be able to convince the Chinese to lower emissions? Or do you think it unlikely?

Tesla is not claiming to be able to  build 500,000 cars at the get-go. That is what they hope to build eventually. For the EV industry, Chinese manufacture is a no-brainer. Would I buy a Tesla for half the current price? Damn right.
But the thing about Musk is a sense that perhaps he will over-extend his ambitions, and end up like a 21st Century John DeLorian. His fixation with Mars would only take one mishap to piss it all down the drain.
