Reminds me an interesting case.

A friend of my Uncle married a Thai woman with twin daughters who immigrated and studied here. They both got part time jobs, one was a pretty much bone lazy and worked at a supermarket checkout and her exact reasoning was that she could just stand there and beep beep beep, got flybuys?

The other was a vivacious go getter and worked in a restaurant because she loved to be active and knew she could provide excellent service which would attract tips hence more money.

I've been friends with these ladies for years and the bone lazy one (I'm not so much friends with her) still mooches around her mums house doing bugger all.

The other one moved back to Bangkok and is a very successful business entrepreneur and killing it.
