Anybody who wants to look after low paid workers in this country, should not be tipping.

It undermines our industrial relations system.

The interesting this is in situations where tipping is generally not applied the service in Australia is nearly always atrocious.

Ive lived in an area where the garbos seemed to go out of their way to leave the bins in the worst possible place. Our current garbo level the bins where they were left out. They got a xmas present and deserved it.

Quite the opposite of stinginess.

I want to see low paid workers looked after.

Tipping them will only cause harm in the future.

When you gain a better understanding of our industrial relations system, you'll see this for yourself.

Keep tipping, and they'll want to take away more entitlements.

As I said, when (if) you eventually learn more about how our industrial relations system works in this country, you'll understand why tipping is doing more harm than good.
