I own three, actually.

Two Taurus and a Beretta.

.....and you also take hallucinogenic illicit drugs ?

There ought to be a law against you owning any firearm, imo.

[.....there probably is, but your not going to volunteer that information to local authorities, are you!]

It's a pistol that cannot be legally owned here as barrel looks shorter than the 120mm minimum,

Damn I am in trouble, the weapon in my pants has a much shorter barrel  Cheesy

Well, by good fortune.
My mate, who is a cop - popped in today.
Eventually, I told him and showed him.
He 'reprimanded' me on my 'delay of action'.
He called the 'local' Police and they came around.
I was given a bit of a verbal by them for not calling them straight away. I took them down to where I found it.
They, of course took it off my mate, who took it off me straight away.
They asked why I 'kept it' for awhile?
I answered simply - "To go to Lakemba and shoot Moslems, possibly?"  Tongue
Well that smart-arse comment didn't go down well as I was back-handed in the face by my mate with a "Wake up to yourself!"  Angry
I haven't been charged in any way (so far). But it was very stupid of me to have  taken the action I did. I guess I just got caught up in the adrenalin of it. Of finding something like that. Of something ...precioussssssss
I have been in trouble with 'firearms' in the past.
I won't deny I go all 'glazy-eyed' when near a gun.
I told the cops (and my mate) this and understand why I never joined the Police or Military.
In Military Cadets once, I was kicked out for aiming the unarmed rifle at the Lance Corporal and pulling the trigger like in a trance.

Yes, it's best I stay away from guns - as I do.
But to find one. Well - it did feel 'special' for a short while.
I am embarrassed by my actions - but I just didn't 'think' about anything much else, except for the gun, at the time.

My ....preciousssss.

yeah ....$1000 fine and 12 month good behaviour bond. Although he said he had previous trouble with firearms so it might just be jail time.

Ohh no.

Actually - they will remove the rounds from the pistol
& check them for fingerprints.
I hope you haven't touched the rounds?

They might be able to match the fingerprints up with a known criminal using their database.

What they will probably do, is tell you they don't know if they will charge you or not -
it's up to the sergeant  etc etc.

That way they will leave you hanging in fear for 6 months while they decide what to do.

You would have been better off chucking it a the river than
getting involved -
you silly billy.

Wrong, he would have been better off not touching the gun and calling the police immediately, or if he had to take it for fear of kids picking it up, then take it straight to the nearest police station ..... not take it home for the day, post about it on the internet and only call the police once a mate catches him.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Huh?  JaSinner told us he was Mellie.....a notorious internet retard and a very dangerous one who has posted the real name, address and phone number of freediver.

But, Herbert, if you want to pretend you live in a cocoon oblivious to all that, I am happy to produce proof.
