One supposes that if the persecuted Islamists had converted to Buddhism that all the persecution would stop. After all, most Buddhists get along quite well with other Buddhists, don't they?

But that won't happen, will it? Because we all know the penalty for apostasy, courtesy of Islam.

One also assumes that it is bad policy to attack the armed forces of your adoptive home country without thinking of repercussions. Then again, some selfish members of the Rohingya may have been attempting to enter Paradise earlier than their brethren.

One also considers the fact that if they'd behaved themselves, they'd probably still be living unmolested in their villages.

Then again, it's that tiny minority of religious extremists that spoil it for everyone else.

But what's new?

Can Muslims even live together? Shia and Sunni would tend to indicate not.

The only thing we can be sure of is their enmity to anyone not Muslim.

something must have gone very wrong with the psychodynamic in burma for this to have occured.
