This kind of conduct is not exclusive to one side of the debate.

People on BOTH sides of the discussion should be allowed to express their views freely, and people on both sides also have the responsibility to refrain from attacking others with different views by word or deed.
Do you want to live in an Australia where all people are equal before the law? Choose Yes.
Do you have legitimate concerns on religious grounds? Choose No.
I have chosen Yes, by the way, but I'm otherwise not wasting my time on this distraction. And that is what it is - a distraction, to divert the attention of the public from the continuing ineptitude of this bad government.
