I suppose it beats the alternative of just ripping a woman's uterus out because she has become "hysterical".

Hence the term "hysterectomy".

Well my mum became sane enough to not have any more kids after hers. Grin

My grandma died having a hysterectomy. It's major surgery.

I never met her. She died when my father (the oldest) was 17.

Left 5 kids behind.

My mum would have died if she didn't have one. She haemorrhaged badly when my younger bro was born. That was her last.

My grandma would have died without one too.

Still, it's major surgery.

Any surgery is bad.

In fact going to the doctors is bad.

They have become pill pushers imo.

A pill for any ailment.

They all follow the same doctrine., your local GP these days has is no better than a nurse, maybe nurses are better.

They don't even take blood anymore.

Darwin defiers! I too would probably be dead if not for antibiotics, bio-researchers and doctors, many of us would.

I've got a really good family doctor. Not too hasty with the prescription pad, takes blood and blood pressure etc.

I can tell him anything.

Takes really good care of our family.

Ajax, you just need to shop around for a good one.
