Throwing cow manure, slow release fertiliser pellets then sugar cane mulch before you grow anything can help set the scene for successful planting.

The other thing I've found helpful is locating the best position for certain plants.

Leave the Food forum alone, leave gardening alone.

The leaves look very similar to cucumber leaves but are smaller in size. The kids were stoked. We'll be taking some shots when they're ready to pick.
