Muslims did a drive by shooting at lakemba police station, try google for that one SB.

It is not unprecedented for muslims to blow things up by walking into somewhere with a bomb, perhaps it is wise to meet them outside.

it also strongly suggests that these attempted murders were pre-meditated.

Not for a second.

Every single country has a Islam problem. When they are a small minority (1-2%) they have a victim mentality blaming everyone else for their problems. When they are a large minority (10-20%) they start to force change on society and no longer hide their more vile cultural beliefs. Once they become a majority they force everyone else to either be Muslim or live in fear as second rate citizens. Their entire religion from its very core requires domination and separation from all others.

Australia is a perfect example of how Islam stands out as a group that creates disharmony;

Hinduism: 1.3%
Buddhism: 2.5%
Islam: 2.2%

Can we really say that Islam is no worse that Buddhism in Australia? Can we really say that Hinduism is as bad when we take numbers into account? It is pretty obvious which religion simply stands out as an ongoing problem.

The western world is simply unable to deal with Islam the same way it deals with other beliefs. The idea that all beliefs are equal or equally as bad as each other is political correctness gone wild and a futile attempt to appear neutral and objective. The consistent and violent track record of Islam simply doesn't allow it to be classed as no worse than any other religion.

Is Islam a problem in Australia? Certainly not in my experience. Sure the media likes to play it up and blame Islam, paint every muslim as a terrorist ... but they don't apply the same rules to everyone else.

Why is a perpetrators religion not mentioned in any news reports except for when the perpetrator is Muslim??

Well, not quite, Mr Minimalist Krayem.

We actually know quite a bit more about this young psychotic warrior for Islam ~ and it's been splashed all over the TV, radio, and print media ~ including the internet.

But I'm sure your denialist tactic of pretending "There's Nothing to See Here, Folks" minimalism will be grasped by all the Useful Idiots and the culturally and racially self-hating Lefties as something to run with while they hope it's the police who get pilloried for wrongdoing and not this young Muslim.

Correct.

Some of us are absolutely pissed off to the back teeth with taxpayer revenue being earmarked to pay the wages of sob-sister 'counsellors', and welfare workers, and fresh-faced luvvies with Bachelor of Psychology degrees to go play wet-nurse with society's cultural and religious misfits.

It's no mystery why these Australian-born youths find glamour and excitement in extremist propaganda of a violent nature against Western people.

It's because of a monumental inferiority complex for being medieval Muslims in a society dominated by 21st century people whose cultural inheritance has produced all of the goodies, and all of the successful social systems that made their parents emigrate here in the first place.

Their anger is one of sheer resentment and embarrassment for the total failure of their own cultural background to produce anything other than religious mania and obsession.

Motive!

If someone kills the bloke screwing his wife, his religion usually has nothing to do with it and has no need for a mention. It is obvious why he killed; because he was furious. When Muslims blow shlt up and do it in the name of Allah, their religion is very much at the core of their actions. The fact Muslims get mentioned more in these situations is because what they are doing is directly connected to what they believe.

I don't buy that .... the media starts the anti Islam thing as soon as the crime has been committed and before the police have even had a chance to determine the motive ....

if a muslim did kill someone because someone else was screwing his wife, the media would cry Muslim , muslim muslim, and thats all you'd hear .... the rest is lost as background noise and the only thing anyone would remember is 'another crazy arab'

All that does is reinforce extremists views  and allows them to justify their extreme behaviour to the impressionable.  Can you imagine what it does to your head to be made to feel like a criminal just because of your religion, a religion that most of these kids or young men were born into and had no choice? We make them feel like criminals and then complain when they turn and become criminals ...

I've lived surrounded by Musliums for most of my youth and young adult life, never once did I feel threatened of concerned for my safety. Never once did anyone have a go at me because I was Catholic ...

I accept what you are saying John and do not dispute that you cannot blame institutions for the actions of individuals in every instance which is where I believe you are coming from....However my argument is the Catholic church did know what was going on and covered it up to protect the institution not the victim.....Muslims claim extremism has nothing to do with Islam and blame individuals or external forces without accepting the very institution they are protecting is partly to blame....My argument is if these institutions do not accept any fault on their own behalf either through apathy or ignorance then who should???

Huh Huh Huh

There is a subtle but important difference in your analogy.  The Catholic Church Hierarchy (in part) knew what was going on and covered it up but the vast majority of the church - including its leadership - did not know. Once they did find out their rejection of it and internal change was both swift and genuine. Muslims however, ALL know.

But Muslims don't have a heirarchy that can dictate what its followers do ... its every iman for himself, and lets face it, like shock jocks on radio, sadly, for some of them, its in their best interest to act extreme when competing for followers

Where do you keep getting this shlt from?

Islam has a very powerful hierarchy system. It is part of the reason why their religion and politics are nearly inseparable. Even more bizarre is how you keep saying Christianity has a strong hierarchy when in fact it doesn't. The Catholic church certainly does, but protestant churches got hid of a hierarchy system centuries ago. You will not find anyone with supreme power or say in Presbyterian, Baptist, congregation, etc, churches. Instead, they do everything they can to avoid anyone having too much power.

How the hell have you got this completely reversed?

So another world conspiracy at play here. This time it is the media of western nations making Muslims look bad when they don't actually cause any more problems than anyone else  Roll Eyes.

Islam gets far too many apologist in the media as it is. This is anything but a media beat up, but more of a case of political correctness being forgotten as it is becoming harder and harder not to call a spade a spade.

If I am wrong, can you tell me what the structure is and who is the head of the Islamic Church?

in today's world, you're probably right that the islamic religion has the greatest of problems. BUt that's not to say that all religion hasn't at one point in time or another being an overreaching reason for why sh!t happens. Not to mention that it just dumbs down people.

Just get rid of it all.

Intelligent posters debate the topic and others use it as a springboard to their pet hate - as you do.

Having people believe fables as a source of truth is hardly intelligence.  If anything has been learnt from Isis it's that the root of all evil is religion.  Get rid of it.

I would suggest it would be because most perprtrators in Australia ,at least, don't use their religion as a motive (but when they do it's reported).  Islamist terrorists do use religion as a motive.  Hence it's reported.

But that's just an observation.
