Australians Take Action
Sep 25th, 2014 at 12:05pm

There comes a time when we have to face the fact that the people we elected into government have completely lost our trust, and if there is no trust left in our government then the government no longer represents the people of Australia. In such times, action by all of us is required.

Thankfully, the Australian Constitution provides us with a Governor General, to whom we can communicate our distrust and request for a new government to be elected.

We, the Australian people, can exercise our democratic rights in a civilized, peaceful and modern way to compel our Governor General to remove the Prime Minister.

Who are "Australians Take Action"?

Why do you need a copy of the letter to the GG?

What assurances do we have you aren't from ASIO and this isn't a means of identifying those who oppose the present Government and providing the Government with a nice easily accesses list of people to be apprehended and interned?   Grin Grin Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin Grin

Take action?

No thanks. Leave Tony where he is.
I want to see how this all turns out.

In tears probably, but it's sure to be entertaining.

So, all those rich dudes who don't pay tax, like famously Kerri Packer and Rupert Murdoch are "non-taxpaying-pimplyfaced - ecosocialist - treehugging - unistudentunionists-takeaction.dopey.pricks"?    Grin Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

what drivel.  the GG cannot order a new election.  He doesn't have the power and never has had so.

Sorry, mate, you're naive. "Democratic rights" are worth shite. because both sides (left and right) serve the same masters. They are just like Coke and Pepsi. They all agree with the major policies and they don't dare to interfere with the banks, the Reserve Bank, ASIO, ASIS etc. because those are all controlled by higher global powers... Wink

Thank you all for great replies.

The Governor General does have the power to dismiss the Prime Minister whenever he has a reason to do so, also he has the power to nominate a replacement Prime Minister and pretty much anything else he wishes to do. It is all in the constitution - section 70.

He needs a good reason to do so. And the reason is the massive amount of letters that he is going to receive. Without the action of individuals like us we will wait for the next election in impotent ramblings about how terrible the current government is, without actually lifting a finger and sending one simple letter.

Your move.

you don't understand section 70 at all.  Like most of what you write here, it is fanciful drivel.
