ASIO and the Feds have long had associations with the FBI... and the blank comment that 'fifteen people were arrested' in no way reflects the two charges.. only one of which relates to potential terrorism.

I smell propaganda in play here... and I am frankly appalled that any respectable paper etc or politician would try it on.

Abbott is catholic and our PM. Throughout history Catholics have despised Muslims.

Abbott is of the belief all Australians are Catholic like him and despise Muslims!

Abbotts crusade against the Muslims is a purely an Abbott thing having no place in Australia.

Perhaps if Abbott ever becomes an Australian he may come to understand that!

Of course, the fact really is that I am not always correct & neither is anyone else, nor are all of these systems always correct, in fact sometimes they are very far from it.

In fact, the systems are just as susceptible, as us mere humans, but its about time we started to work together a bit more, because if we don’t, we will finally “succeed”, in tearing ourselves apart!

wow! are you some sort of secret service agent or something? How could you possibly know that law enforcement agencies in US and Australia cooperate with each other? This is top hush hush stuff.

That means if an innocent bystander gets injured or killed by police who are involved in a 'terrorist operation', the media will not be permitted to report it.....unless they want to see the inside of a cell.

If the police should accidentally raid the wrong Mr Abdullah's house and kill the wrong person, the media will not be permitted to report such an incident.

Of course there's no way to stop social media from reporting these 'operational events'. Thank goodness for Twitter and Facebook.....never thought I would ever say that.

Hardly hush hush - been common knowledge for years. No - I am not a secret service agent, and an observer need not be such to know simple realities.

Why would co-operation between Allied agencies be a secret?

It's just a press release to suggest that things have changed.. they may be more specific in the kind of information shared, but little has changed in reality.

I stunned an SAS major friend once when he gave me a copy of 'Spycatcher' - that much-advertised by Thatcher book by Peter Wright - when I said there was nothing new in it. To me, many things are just common knowledge.....

My affiliations with the spies are one interview for a job years ago... hardly a resume`...

Late Mail:- Oh - not ALL information is exchanged or shared - operational exigencies require that some information remain closed, even to Allies.

That is one of the difficulties of an international jihad against terrorism and such.
