Well, not quite, Mr Minimalist Krayem.

We actually know quite a bit more about this young psychotic warrior for Islam ~ and it's been splashed all over the TV, radio, and print media ~ including the internet.

But I'm sure your denialist tactic of pretending "There's Nothing to See Here, Folks" minimalism will be grasped by all the Useful Idiots and the culturally and racially self-hating Lefties as something to run with while they hope it's the police who get pilloried for wrongdoing and not this young Muslim.

You really are a sad exhibit of a human being.  Go back to the original post and read the thread  through  If you are going to quote someone, at least quote them in the context of the conversation, otherwise you are just a blowfly on a random cowpat

it was posted before 7am.. a lot has come out since then... Angry..

Yes, it's sad.

I cried all the way through the documentary on the Nuremberg Trials at the awful misdirection those genocidal monsters took because of the bad potty training they receive from their parents.

some people must live on a Mountain Top in Tennessee. thats all I can say...

this "sad" person was capable of chopping off someones head he had the desire and the sword..and the intent from what we have been told.

So you think that doing nothing about the reasons that young people are doing this is the way to go - just catch them in the act or when it is too late for the next ten or so generations ?

Incredibly, they said on tonight's news that the two policemen had agreed to meet this Muslim a short distance from the police station because he had told them he would feel 'Uncomfortable' in there.

I say, WHAT?

How very accommodating.

How very touchy-feely.

How very culturally sensitive.

Oh, so a known person to the police, who had been the subject of police involvement in the past, whose parents had been asked to restrict his movements, who had been parading around around with an ISL flag, who had been screaming anti aussie slogans, who IS KNOWN to police, goes to the police station and pulls a knife?

Geez, I never would have thought that.....surely a young man BORN IN Australia would have produced a mouth organ and played "advance Australia Fair"  Thick as fire doors you righties

what exactly is your point? that they sought to do the right thing and were stabbed in response?

I agree that the muslims scholars and imams should do everything in their power to prevent terrorism. However, I think the way Islam opperates and its lack of heirarchy is a problem that makes it virtually impossible for Islam to deal with anything as an institution. Any nutjob with an agenda can pick up a Quoran and declare himself an imam and put his own twist on it (from what I understand of how Islam operates, correct me if I'm wrong).  and there is nothing anyone else can do about it. What we can do however is to stop giving people a reason to listen to these nutjobs.

It is not that simple. The majority are sunnis or shia. They need to be reconciled with each other.
that will never happen .... which was why in another thread I suggested nuking the whole middle east and being done with it

You also pose and answer a question - what is it in the koran that fuels the nutjobs and their followers. There are nuts in other religions but such widespread savage violence, from north africa to pakistan, with scriptural justification is completely unique to islam in our age.

not just the Koran, the bible has many passages that were used to justify evil ... christianity however has a heirarchy that was over time able to weed out most of these extremists

You couldn’t have so many violent nuts acrooss the globe justifying themselves on the basis of the NT or Budddhist or Taoist or atheist or animist scripures.

i don't know anything about any of those religions so I can't comment

Correct.

Some of us are absolutely pissed off to the back teeth with taxpayer revenue being earmarked to pay the wages of sob-sister 'counsellors', and welfare workers, and fresh-faced luvvies with Bachelor of Psychology degrees to go play wet-nurse with society's cultural and religious misfits.

It's no mystery why these Australian-born youths find glamour and excitement in extremist propaganda of a violent nature against Western people.

It's because of a monumental inferiority complex for being medieval Muslims in a society dominated by 21st century people whose cultural inheritance has produced all of the goodies, and all of the successful social systems that made their parents emigrate here in the first place.

Their anger is one of sheer resentment and embarrassment for the total failure of their own cultural background to produce anything other than religious mania and obsession.

Police stations need metal detector arches that people must walk through
before gaining entrance.

I can't see any other way to stop this happening again.

Of course - the police should not meet Islamic radicals in car parks.

John Smith wrote.....
Quote:
I'm not excusing the religion, but its overly simplistic to blame the religion. How often do you see the community preaching anti christianity just because some priest molests a child or some christian kills someone ?... apart from the odd person its not very often .. and yet it seems that everytime a muslim does something wrong the whole anti islam things flares up time and time again.
All that does is reinforce extremists views  and allows them to justify their extreme behaviour to the impressionable.  Can you imagine what it does to your head to be made to feel like a criminal just because of your religion, a religion that most of these kids or young men were born into and had no choice? We make them feel like criminals and then complain when they turn and become criminals ...

I've lived surrounded by Musliums for most of my youth and young adult life, never once did I feel threatened of concerned for my safety. Never once did anyone have a go at me because I was Catholic ...

even the best dog will one day turn and bite you if you keep kicking it. ...

I accept what you are saying John and do not dispute that you cannot blame institutions for the actions of individuals in every instance which is where I believe you are coming from....However my argument is the Catholic church did know what was going on and covered it up to protect the institution not the victim.....Muslims claim extremism has nothing to do with Islam and blame individuals or external forces without accepting the very institution they are protecting is partly to blame....My argument is if these institutions do not accept any fault on their own behalf either through apathy or ignorance then who should???

Huh Huh Huh

There is a subtle but important difference in your analogy.  The Catholic Church Hierarchy (in part) knew what was going on and covered it up but the vast majority of the church - including its leadership - did not know. Once they did find out their rejection of it and internal change was both swift and genuine. Muslims however, ALL know.

But Muslims don't have a heirarchy that can dictate what its followers do ... its every iman for himself, and lets face it, like shock jocks on radio, sadly, for some of them, its in their best interest to act extreme when competing for followers

Muslims did a drive by shooting at lakemba police station, try google for that one SB.

It is not unprecedented for muslims to blow things up by walking into somewhere with a bomb, perhaps it is wise to meet them outside.
