Very true mater Light:

Once again - the Bible is proven true:

that shall not be revealed;
and hid, that shall not be known.

I think the fellow who did the news tonight on channel nine got it right when he said that the royal couple were doing a fantastic job of selling Australia to the tourist industry around the world.

Next summer there'll be a glut of tourists coming here to see all the sights while dropping a few pennies.

You couldn't be so gullible to believe that drivel could you. Roll Eyes

The world is not interested in the Royal effing family. You would be lucky to find 10% of Australians that are genuinely interested. Which is the whole point; the Royals would not be here if it wasn't for the PR exercise feeding a superficial mercenary press corp .

To add insult to injury we get to pay for The Firm's branding exercise in Oz.

Lord Herbert wrote on Apr 20th, 2014 at 9:04pm:
I don't want to sound nasty, but I think the news reporter who was following the royals might have got it wrong when she said that the royal baby George was upstaging his parents for being so 'cute'.

'Cute' is not a word that springs to mind. Some babies look cute, but alas, not George to my mind.

A good example of how superficial and unimportant the whole exercise is  Roll Eyes.

Take your meds Bobby. There's no logic there that proves the bible true - just that the bible has words which might be applicable in other situations.

You seriously don't think it was for any other reason than their utter and complete disgust with this piece of crap do you? Do you really think he would have been given a knighthood had the government or the Royal Family known about his perverted ways?

Don't make an even bigger fool of yourself.

Am I missing something here?
All I can see is that Savile knew some members of the royal family, and that was most probably in connection to his charity work.

And he goes on to say he first went to some places in company with a royal. That doesn't mean the royal had any idea of what he was going to get up to.

It's perfectly possible for evil people to come across as friendly, decent, hardworking souls, so that even family and neighbours may be unaware of what they get up to.

I haven't seen any evidene that any members of the royal family were actually paedophiles themselves or knew that Savile was.
Oh, and I am not a royalist, but fair's fair.

The fault was with the BBC who knew only too well about his twisted ways and covered them up, as did many of the hospital charities which were only too happy to have this bastard make money for them.

I hope to join the royal family by marrying a minor English aristocrat .  My flight to England leaves tomorrow. I think I will start with the ones confined to mental asylums.
