I see it perhaps 5 minutes a day. Anything that spreads a general feeling of goodwill is OK by me. I just don't understand this hatred for the tradition of monarchy. It's not as if they have any power over your life.

+1 My sentiment exactly.

It not about been happy or liking or disliking them. Its not about pointless celebrity cult or not.

It about reflecting Australian values and not kowtowing, bowing and scraping, ogling and deferring and fawning over them.

I'm not even anti-Royal - its a great thing for the Brits. Its their culture, their history, their cost, their choice.

I'm not even anti-whats his face and Kate - a lovely couple apparently (doubtful family though) - I'm wish them well. They are probably victims of the Circus and the media as anyone else.

I just wish they would keep it in England and the pages of the Womans Daily.

The Duchess of Cambridge has a wonderful smile.

I've never seen a 'Royal' so relaxed and at ease with the crowds ~ You would think she had been born to it.

She's a wonderful addition to the Royals, and I'm not surprised the Aussies have taken a big shine to her. She's very natural and completely without any pretensions ~ and Aussies have warmed to her because of that, and her smiling good nature.

Transcripts from the Surrey Police report were released last week with 96 lines blacked out.

I think the fellow who did the news tonight on channel nine got it right when he said that the royal couple were doing a fantastic job of selling Australia to the tourist industry around the world.

Next summer there'll be a glut of tourists coming here to see all the sights while dropping a few pennies.

I don't want to sound nasty, but I think the news reporter who was following the royals might have got it wrong when she said that the royal baby George was upstaging his parents for being so 'cute'.

'Cute' is not a word that springs to mind. Some babies look cute, but alas, not George to my mind.
