It's true though, isn't it - Islam DOES want to dominate the world.
Not share, tolerate, coexist - but dominate. That's what it's all about.

So does Christianity and its numerous denominations, Soren.  All proselytising religions do.   Roll Eyes

Well that's just bullshit...  I'm a Christian, I don't want to, my religion doesn't want to.
too much time on the Wacky To-baccy there bwian.

Yes, just because you don't do it, doesn't mean that many other Christians don't do it, Beowulf.

Nor does it mean it hasn't happened throughout most of the history of that religion.

Remember the Spanish in the Americas and what they did to the "American Indians"?   Roll Eyes

Throughout most of history most people, especially Western Christians, have changed.  Islam is conspicuous for it refusal to even allow the contemplation of changing. It is unrevisable.

SO the Spanish example is silly.

Uganda is not Western, it's African. Africans are primitive, whether they are Muslims or Christians or Americans.

Flaming again, Beowulf?  Perhaps you should reacquaint yourself with the rules?

Merely insulting someone is not technically an ad hominem unless it is done in a way that discredits their argument – however, it is still inappropriate.

You have read the rules, Beowulf?   Roll Eyes

Isn't it about time you started obeying them?  Or do you consider yourself above them?   Roll Eyes

or are you unaware of what you continually do to others?  You reap what you sow bwian.

You ridiculed Soren and his ideas...  I noted the text and the roll eyes bwian...  I merely made a humorous comment about where you get your ideas from...  in return.
wassup, no sense of humour?

Beowulf, Soren does it seems get his opinion from Youtube.  Do you think that is a good source on which to base one's opinion?  Honestly?     Roll Eyes

I could imagine what would happen if I was to try and use a youtube video as a substitute for debate, Beowulf.  You'd be all over me like a rash, shouting your insults and ad hominem.  Yet you let Soren alone.  Now, that is contradictory, could it be that you agree with him?   Roll Eyes

I try not engage in flaming, nor ad hominem or open insults, unlike you, Beowulf.  You have been claiming you crave debate but all you do is post flames, ad hominem, open insults or silly pictures or cartoons.   How about you actively engage in some debate?  It'd make quite a change.  Roll Eyes

No Brain. I get my ideas from impeccably researched sources.
I presented the youtube version for your benefit.

There is a massive problem of astonishing underachievement among black Americans because of the gangster culture, the breakdown of the black family and the total lack cred for education among black boys (especially boys, although girls are travelling better only when compared to the boys, not if compared to whites or the Chinese in America).

An you can safely look at the educational attainments and family compositions of Aboriginese in Australia and will find something quite similar if not quite so bad as in America.

If you look in England, you find the same thing - African and West Indian boys are at the very bottom of the educational ladder. They do not have an ethos for education, nor the stable family structure.

You can throw any amount of money at them, it will make very, very little difference, if any. The problem of black disadvantage is not about 'resources' but about the cultural opposition of blacks to the ways of white society: rigorous schooling, conscientious work, stable family, personal responsibility, social solidarity.

Not coincidentally, every progressive endeavour is aimed at breaking down these very characteristics of western society.

I invite you to provide a single piece of evidence to the contrary.

Schooling in Arukun, have a read, it's really inspiring.  All it took was someone to take the time effort and money to implement good teaching practices and get involved in the community?  who would've thought?

Well said, Soren.
