I have told you countless times, have I not, what is wrong with your memory that you cannot retain those basic facts for more than a few minutes. No wonder you're poor and unemployable.

Well I suppose the boxes aren't painted black.  Cheesy

No they are not black they are and always have been grey, but I have aready told you that on ,many occasions. Also that 'ad' for intergrated avionics technician, is not a RAAF 'intergrated avionics technician', so that was another poorly researched lie that you posted there.

BigLoser,
You said there were no black boxes - which refers to
boxes that are changed out as a single unit.
I proved you wrong.

Now apologise to me & all the readers.

Actually I said it was not my job to change black boxes and that the F111 was not a black box replacement type aircraft like the F18. ie, that was all that was required to repair the aircraft.

Looks like another one of your lies has failed to work again.

In its original form back in the 60's it probably didn't have any black boxes but what about in its heavily modified form ? Surely all of those black boxes were removed when the planes were mothballed or stuck in a museum ?

The term black box is a generalised civilian term for any avionics package, including the 'black box' flight recorder whch is orange. We tended to call them by their actuall name, weapons system packages, TFR package, flight control package, etc.

The F111 always had avionics packages which he refers to as black boxes, even though they are mostly grey or white. His comment was that it was my sole task was to change out 'black boxes' and I always stated it was not. Now he is stating after a sustained flogging by me, that I somehow stated the avionics boxes did not exist.

Flogging bobby is fun most of the time especially when has to resort to more and more outrageous lies. But then I realise he is a civilian loud mouth and not worth the steam off my p1ss.

If that were true, you would be calling them by their proper name, instead of the ignorant expression you like to use.

You seem to know less than bugger all about this subject and more than willing to prove your limitations.

BTW I have taught you much, you just tend to learn zero.  Grin

"Gentlemen!  Gentlemen!  You can't fight here, it's the War Room!"

Does the colour of the "boxes" really matter?   We have the word of BigOl64 that he wasn't a mere "box changer" (not that such an ECN exists in the RAAF AIUI).  You'll just have to accept that, Bobby.

The term "black box" was first coined by the RAF after examining downed German bombers in WWII which used a very modern idea of easily replaced pieces of electronic and electrical equipment which came in the form of "black boxes".   The USAAF picked the term up and popularised in, particularly in the 1950s, where the boxes were black and were easily replaceable but even then, skilled aircrafstmen needed to known both which ones needed replacing and why.

You shouldn't denigrate BigOl64's service, Bobby.  It's obvious you haven't any under your belt.   Roll Eyes

Once again you try to cover up with more lies.

I have no respect for 4 corners, never once mentioned anyone being interviewed. Just because I don't slavishly agree with everything they say, doesn't mean Im disrespecting them. i just choose to ignore 4 coners' version of what they have to say.

BTW I very little respect for you or nails, neither of you are particularly bright and you tend to believe anything told you by a TV and youtube rather than do any sort of proper research.
