Unless we decide to go back to colonialism and treating our Asian neighbours like slaves and prostitutes we have nothing to fear from any other country in our region.
Respect and open trade is a much better replacement to war and the huge cost in lives and money.
WW2

WW1 and ww2 were always avoidable because the build up of nationalism which sparked both wars and the rise of fascism and communism never needed to happen. As for the wars throughout Asia every single one of them was due to European colonialism, disrespect and racist trade barriers.
Lets save our money and instead use common sense and open trade.

From Tibet?

For thousands of years China has always considered Tibet to be a part of China..But the USA can hardly say they have always considered Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq and every other country they invaded on the other side of the globe to be a part of the USA.
Any country which threatens the USA's position as top dog is always threatened with military force..so its no wonder China is seeking to defend itself from US aggression.
China has never been a threat to Australia or any other country that does not first threaten China and given the terrible treatment of the Chinese under British colonialism and Japanese invasion you can see why they would never allow that to happen again

Longweekend - what would you know about war? -
you Walter Mitty clone.

snip sillyass infographic

The Liaoning doesn't even have an airgroup yet. The ship's primary fixed wing combat aircraft is going to be the J-15 and so far the PLAN only has sixteen for development purposes. Even if the aircraft was available in numbers, the Liaoning only has room for less that 30 fixed wing aircraft. Complicating matters is the Liaoning only has stores to stay out to sea for about forty-five days and enough fuel and ordinance for two weeks of sustained operations.

To put it in perspective, the USN's Nimitz-class carriers have three times the fixed-wing aircraft including dedicated AWACS and EWAR aircraft. They can stay out to sea indefinently, and they carry enough fuel and ordinance for around two weeks of sustained operations by three times as many aircraft as a Liaoning. Essentially a Nimitz-class ship is worth three Liaonings in just number of aircraft.

We've got ten Nimitz-class ships. China only has one Liaoning.

And the USA is heading towards bankruptcy -
the ecomomy is the real power house & China has the money to build a lot more than they have now.
For all we know those Yanky carriers could be old rust buckets.

You don't need to be a content expert to make cogent rational statements and question, just a modicum of intelligence and the ability to realise when someone knows more than you do.

Why would China want to destroy their own and the worlds economy by invading any country they can simply buy resources from at rock bottom rates with their massive cash reserves?
China is just making sure history never repeats itself and their people are never enslaved and their resources stolen by the British, Japanese or anyone else.
