It would seem the carbon tax is a little too late
Jul 4th, 2012 at 11:47pm

City swallowed by sea level rise and we did nothing. Nothing.

It would seem us greedy people who use too much CO2 just didn't care enough for these people. Does it make you feel dirty.

The sun just sat there and didnt get any cooler. Big oil just profited.

I wonder if these people were anything like our global warming deciples. I wonder if they wasted their time and energy and wealth like us on greeny projects.

No using the fireplace at any time.

They would have all died from cold or uncooked food.

Two interesting graphs.
First is sea levels over the last 542 million years showing sea levels a tad higher than now.

...

Second shows that sea level rise since the last ice age and shows that the rate has slowed.
So no matter what we do things will change.

...

So your point is what? Just because things will change we should sit on our arses and do nothing? Maybe you'd like to go back to living in a cave back in the last ice age but I kinda think learning to change our environment to suit ourselves is a Good Thing.

You would be a nutjob then. A carbon tax will not change a dam thing except for some ideologues sleeping pattern.

So no harm done then. Still beats sitting on your arse waiting for the water level to rise.

Why would I wait, I would just do something else and why would I waste my money on allowing an ideologue to change their sleeping pattern.

Exactly the thinking that has caused many of our current problems...just hold still, so the universe can revolve around you.

Something else like what? Sit around for 14 hours a day endlessly complaining that poor people aren't sufficiently subsidising your lifestyle and that a handful of people on boats are a threat to your existence in a way that you can't quite enunciate?

Oh no.. that IS what you do...  Cheesy

Mayhap. Or you could sit around and do nothing. That seems to have worked well for 99% of the other species that have ever existed.

This farce should go to a Judicial inquiry into the conduct of the legislature immediately - the nation demands it.

The nation demands nothing of the sort. You really are a joke with no conscience.
