There are two "dogs" in that race. If it were Rudd and Turnbull, it would be a far more effective "hung parliament"Either way, I hope that the next election result is hung until we see some real leadership from one side or the other.

What? Rudd and Turnbull? you go and wash your mouth out with soap ,sonny, the extreme congo line known as the far right will never allow the people of this country to choose between the two candidates they want. How dare you even suggest a couple of moderates face off.

Switched allegiances from Gillard to Rudd eh? Grin Grin Grin

You're flogging a dead horse, none of them have the moral will to Govern, far too much corruption and shame on them I am afraid. Cool

Gillard will not win the election unless she brings her party into line.

Leaks like "she penned her speech two weeks ago", just show a party lacking strong leadership.

She needs to hang a few out to dry.

Cant see it happening though, she doesnt have the support, but its time to put these rabble rousers down.

While Abbott is opposition leader, the only thing stopping the labor party from a 3rd term is itself. And its doing a fine job of stopping it so far.

Nup, I dont like Rudd, but I'm a realist I can see the writing on the wall. If I had my way Rudd would face off against Turnbull and if that were the case I'd preference  Turnbull over Rudd. Unlike the congo line of Lib suckholes here, I am not a party partisan hack for either major party. I support the GREENS. Tongue

Sounds like the shredding was not very thorough.....Kevin Rudd could not even get that right???

Once the public gets to view these documents and if thoroughly true, then I would not want Rudd or anyone involved with the deception and coverup to be involved in politics anymore, let alone PM.

Funnily enough, Richo said (I think on Qanda?) late last year that she wasn't doing too badly in the leakage department when compared to previous governments on both sides.

I sense Gillard has come out this year armed with spit and bile and is ready to kick some nuts. I hope so! I've got some popcorn and some beer laid in, ready for the day!!  Grin Grin Frankly I think she's deserved a better run than she's had. Ultimately though it's up to her to make the best out of what she's got.

I agree with that, but the sexist assholes that run the right wing media in this country were always going to do a job on her for their "boy",phony tony.

The double standards from the lefties on here beggar belief. What's good for the left (eg, Gilard) is not okay for the right (eg, Abbott).

Frankly, I don't think that Gillard, Rudd, Abbott, Turnbull OR 99.9% of the other Pollies are up to the job!

Which is why it now boils down to picking the best options, out of some lousy choices!

And, we now really have an outstanding bunch to pick from, as far as really poor choices are concerned!

Maybe the best way, as has been put before, is to pick someone not yet in parliament, who has yet been indoctrinated?

But we all know that's not how the "system" works!

Those sexist assholes are yet to make a sexist comment skip.
And as for 'doing a job on her for their boy' couldn't be further from the truth.
Hadley totally savaged the Liberal NSW Premier only just this morning on 2GB, and Alan Jones is still going hypo over CSG after all these weeks, and his 110% support for the farmers and the Greens on this issue.
These guys play the issue, not which side of politics they belong.
It's hardly their fault Gillard is incompetent, and them pretending she is otherwise wouldn't do anyone any favours Skip.

maybe if she stopped lying and did something competently, that would help. At the moment, the only thing she does well is renege on her promises.

you've said that before and the obvious objection to it still applies. Under your system every MP would be an inexperienced newbie. if you think thats a good idea, then next time you want an electrician make sure you get an apprentice on his first week to rewire your house.

LW,
Do you know what generally happens when "our system" sends a small time criminal to jail?

It really doesnt matter who wins the next election, the modern Labor and Coalition parties have shown they have no desire to work together so the real power will be with the Greens in the Senate.
