Tony Abbot will lead the most Radical Interventionist Red Communist Government in Australias history - he wants to tell you what to think, how to think it and when to think it, he wants to abolish job security and stability completely, he wants to be able to hire and fire you at will, be wants to be able to control your finances - tell you what to spend, how to spend it and when to spend it.  So remember, when we get rid of the current bunch of ratbags in the Temple of Idols and Devils in Canberra, there is another bunch of frothing at the mouth loons just itching to get their hands on power and destabilize and play god with our lives.  So be ready for class war, because after the next election it is on - the battle for sovereignty and liberty of the Australian mind and conscience.

The Next PM Of Australia...?

Bob is more likely to sulk in the shadows when he loses his little bit of power that he currently clings to by his pantihose.

You reckon? Abbott wins the next election no matter who wins tomorrow. Abbott has a mandate to rescind carbon tax, stop illegal immigrants and if Bob Brown tries to block that legislation, Abbott will ram a DD up his backside so hard it'll leave Bob running away with his tail between his fishnet pantihose.

Abbott has no mandate by Green supporters and Labor wont vote for anything Abbott puts up after his unprofessional performance over the last few yrs.
In short, if Abbott wants another election a few mths after he gets in and risk even more Greens getting into the Senate...good for him. But one thing is for certain, Green voters are not going to suddenly become hardline ultra conservatives and flock to the Libs in the event of a DD. Abbott is going to have to follow Julia and negotiate with the Greens for many years to come.
Why do neo cons think a DD would favour them?
They'll get all the votes they are ever going to get at the next election..it aint ever gonna get any better so they better make the most of it.

What makes you possibly think the Greens would win a DD on the carbon tax? It's almost universally hated, with the vast majority of Australians against it. All Abbott needs to do to win the next election is announce one policy and put his feet up - rescind the carbon tax. That one policy alone will be enough to decimate Labor and the Greens, along with the idiotic band of Independents who put them there in the first place!

you really dont get what a MANDATE is, do you? it isnt something that YOU agree with, it is something the majority agrees with. Greens of course, don get that concept.

the greens vote is LOWER now than at the last election. that certianly doesnt translate into MORE seats (unless you are thinking like Greens_lose who has brought as such classics as the NSW election being 'a bad result' for the coalition')

Labor is now polling lower than when Rudd was knifed. How this can be bad news for Abbott is beyond me.

the lefites can be pretty weird at time. being ten points in fron is apparently BAD NEWS. I think the rest of us would enjoy having that kind of 'bad news' in our own lives!
