Does anyone actually think that Jenkins retired?

Is anyone stupid/naive/gullible/all three, to think that he actually voluntarily left? It is obvious to anyone with half a brain that he was pushed. Gillard knew that she couldn't put in the pokie legislation, because she simply didn't have the numbers. Oakeshott and Windsor, despite their usual bitch/slave/lap-dog persuasion and affection to her, for once weren't going to side with her, and of course Crook and Katter were never going to support it, so she simply could not pass it. She pushed out Jenkins for this ery reason, and he didn't have the guts, deceny, ticker, and morality to resign from Parliament. Just another Labor MP with no moral compass.

No way he retired that suddenly. That Labor refused to put up a candidate for the role clearly shows that it was a politically motivated scam in order to shore up Gillards tenuous grip on power.

it would be interesting to know who the power brokers were behind this shady deal..

it smacks of the assassination a political knifing for someone elses benefit...

did anyone see the New Mike Willesee interview gillard last night????

it only went for two minutes and already you could see his frustration.. Grin Grin Grin

the Queen of the double dodge..

I think its appalling we have PM that dodges every question..they may as well set up a list of questions to be asked and be done with.

Yeah, I'll agree with you on that one Skippy....
The wording is a little offensive...

Matty is like shyte for brains (blackadder) and fred.

None of them can debate anything. All matty does is start one line thread and shyte for brains and fred all they can do is call people names and drive them off the boards.

If matty becomes a political for the liberal party he wants to learn how to debate
