I dont attack Bolt because his part of liberal cheer squad or should I Abbott cheer squad.
I attack him because he lies and distorts the truth in short has no balance.
Gerald Henderson could be classed in that cheer squad,Michael Koger as well but I respect both of them because they don't omit facts and put forward reasoned arguments rather than bluster

"really distorts the truth"... so you really know what the" truth" is?...
well wish I could say the same...

so tell us where do you get this TRUTH FROM smithy?   not someone in the media for gods sake..

this is what I have already asked.. DO YOU BELIEVE ONLY THOSE THAT YOU PERCEIVE TO BE TELLING THE TRUTH??

this is what I dont understand unless you have contacts in the inner sanctum how do you know which one is telling the truth?..

perhaps ones a political journalist and the other just a columnist would make a difference... however to each his own opinion I say.. I read Laurie Oakes and more often than not get pizzzzzzzed off with him as no matter how shocking this mob is he still treats them with kidgloves and that makes me sick..

like I have already said if Abbott came up with this diabolical trading with human beings plan..you would all be screaming your lights out... yet not a word have i yet read complaining about it from the left..

I think you are the worst kind of hypocrites..on here complaining about Bolt.. not a word on trading humans..for money..sickening.

I define the truth from hearing both sides and my own research.
As for the threads pertaining to the refugee's why would some one on the left start one?We have you guys for that, as for my feelings on it I think I expressed my total lack of respect for this government in my answer to you last night.
They suck, they are hopless and the sooner we are rid of them the better, frankly Abbott would be no worse maybe even better
(OMG I cant believe I just wrote that Shocked)

Didn't watch & have no intention of doing so, as he has nothing of substance to say!

in other words you dont truely believe that... as you have admitted you have suddenly become a stirrer.. for stirrings sake.. so you would like a little dig at the left.. just to keep the pot boiling.. a bit like woody..

your hear the truth from both sides... ha.ha.. what you perceive to be the truth.... research again its only word from a second source isnt it..or even a third or forth source..

its amazing how a word changed here or there can put a whole different meaning to something..but good luck with it all anyway..

I will give Bolt a go this weekend and see what i think for myself...

btw sold the house..now have to find something to live in.. got any spare rooms...lol

Yes we all have our own versions of the truth, but excluding the counter to your argument blinkers you somewhat wouldn't you say?

Probably the best way to make your own mind up, I might flick over during talking pictures but he does clash with Insiders, which is more my cup of tea Wink

Great news, good time to be a buyer too, youd be more than welcome although the wife might move out she's sick of me shouting at the TV and with 2 of us doing it plus shouting at each other might just push her over the edge Grin

I forgot to watch The Bolt's first program - I was keen to see him fall flat on his one-sided face...

Forget his notorious partisanship and dishonesty - he fundamentally-lacks the requisite charisma to host any TV program...

I will try to remember to watch this Sunday - just in case he doesn't get a third chance...

That's why God invented Crikey...

Quote:
Bolt’s Report: worst current affairs show ever?

The reviews are in for The Bolt Report, Andrew Bolt’s new Sunday morning TV pulpit at Channel Ten — and they’re not pretty.

As Sydney Morning Herald media editor Tim Dick writes: “Not having seen every attempt at television current affairs in Australia, it is impossible to judge The Bolt Report the worst. But surely it comes close.”

Bolt is not dull, Dick acknowledges. But his TV show — more Bolt, less Report  — was: “It is named for Bolt, hosted by Bolt, and dominated by the Boltian worldview.” David Knox at TV Tonight agrees: “Insiders showed he is more effective as a commentator than host, a role which requires more moderating and less editorialising. Can Bolt possibly have it both ways?”

Or, as Dan Barrett argues on Crikey TV blog White Noise, if you’re planning a Fox News-style rant-fest at least do it loudly: “The Bolt Report feels like a low-rent cable news opinion-driven panel show that doesn’t have a strong voice. For the show to work, The Bolt Report and its host need to be bolder.”

But there’s only two metrics that really matter. For Bolt, that’s the reaction of his many (mostly Victorian-based) fans. After admitting he was “nervous for the first minute”, Bolt took to his blog to seek feedback — and the vast majority of some 655 comments are positive. “A breath of fresh air from all the other far left wing nonsense we see on tv,” said “John”.

And for Ten, it’s the ratings. They’re tiny, but about double the number of viewers who tuned into Video Hits the week before. As Glenn Dyer reports for Crikey (more detail in TV ratings), the show debuted with 163,000 at 10am with another 123,000 watching a 4.30pm encore edition.

And there was a big boost for Meet The Press in its new post-Bolt time slot, with 98,000 viewers its best result in years.

LOL...The Bolt might get the axe sooner rather than later - and find himself permanently locked out of the current affairs tool shed...

As a general rule, left-wingers want conservatives to shut up while conservatives want left-wingers to keep talking.

So keep talking.

Bolt is nothing but a profesional liar and political critic for the entertainment industry. He is no different from an art, book, film or music critic and as they say, those that cant..criticise those that do.
I quite enjoy the comments from respected ex Coalition pollies such as Amanda Vanstone, Peter Costello, Alexander Downer, Tim Fischer, Malcolm Fraser even John Howard to name but a few but Bolt has never done anything of worth or put himself on the line unlike the people he choses to criticise.

I see that the anti-Bolt clan is afraid that Bolt exposes the lies and diversions by the Greens and the ALP.
And that's what they hate.
Gillard & Brown are too scared to be interviewed by Bolt as Bolt knows too much about politics, better let Gillard & Brown preach to the fools - as they believe them and then they wonder why things are as they are.
