yep ... anyone cheering trump banning of Australian politicians is a traitor to this country.

That is not what greegy was on about.

Im pretty sure that greegy thinks they're traitors because they don't agree with that muslim chick ...

Nope.  Wrong again.

They're traitors because they insist on condoning and perpetuating fear, hatred, division, and death.

They want to destroy our society.

No place for people like that here.

Get rid of 'em.

And, their support for Trump and Putin is totally unacceptable as well.

The up side of that reasoning is that a heap of filthy muslims will be thrown out as well.

It can only be good for the country to rid ourselves of as many undesirables as possible.  Smiley Smiley Smiley

The less religious nutbags in this country the better.

It most certainly is.

They're working against the best interests of our country.

Ship 'em out!

How are they doing that?

By condoning and perpetuating fear, hatred, division, and death.

Pay attention.

Have you reported the death they perpetuated yet, seems important.

Also does not fit the meaning of traitors.  Smiley Smiley

traitor
noun [ C ] UK /ˈtreɪ.tər/ US /ˈtreɪ.t̬ɚ/ disapproving

a person who is not loyal or stops being loyal to their own country, social class, beliefs, etc.:

A first year lawyer could blow your accusation out of the water within a couple of minutes

But threatening to take out an aircraft as a terrorist act now that comes a lot closer to traitorous behaviour.

Gandalf once tried to argue that government, not Islam, is the greatest modern threat to freedom and democracy.

Perhaps he meant Muslims in government.

People like The Mechanic, Mr Hammer, et al. are destroying Australia, and we'd be much better off without them here.

If they insist on condoning and perpetuating fear, hatred, division, and death, let them move to a less civilised country that will accommodate their primitive needs.

Most importantly, they insist on telling porkies. Homo and the Mechanic are two posters who systematically use fibs to propagate their exclusive, elitist agenda. It's an agenda that's totally against Australia's interests. Their vision for Australia is backward, insular and shut-off. It's a vision that would lead directly to the poverty experienced by South Africans during the economic sanctions of the Apartheid years.

Not only do they tell porkies about their vision, they avoid all discussion of its social and economic consequences. They are completely blind to this. Their fear and hostility creates denial of the most basic economic realities, such as:

1. Australia's immigration has led directly to economic growth. We've had 24 years of growth due to immigration. Immigration creates jobs in housing construction, education and other services, such as health, retail and food.

2. Globalization and tariff reduction has led directly to massive price cuts. Goods such as clothing, electronics and building supplies have come down by over 100% since the 1980s in real terms. Financial deregulation has led to more capital entering Australia, and remember, the Australian economy is driven by foreign investment.

3. Without immigration, the economy would spiral into long-term, generational recession. Australia has an ageing population. If we didn't import doctors and nurses and IT consultants and many other specialist professions, the cost of these services would spike. If we didn't import these skills, many areas of the economy would be unsustainable. Australians would need to travel overseas for treatment, as many do for cosmetic surgery or dental services, for example, to countries like Thailand and India.

4. While the number one source of migrants to Australia is still Great Britain, we can't sustain an immigration program without non-European migrants. Europe also has an ageing population. While the European economy stays strong, less people choose to migrate. The White Australia Policy was discontinued in the 1970s, when the post-war European economy had all but recovered from WWII and was no longer shedding migrants.

5. Migrants, and in particular, refugees, make excellent workers and citizens. They do the jobs no one else wants - hence 711s staffed almost solely with Indian and Asian students. Those in the process of applying for visas are far less likely to commit crimes and have their visa applications rejected.

6. Australians, on the whole, see themselves as global citizens. We love travelling. It's almost a right of passage for kids to do a gap year travelling and living overseas. We provide the world with major talent in business, academia and entertainment. Rupert Murdoch, Germaine Greer and Russell Crowe are just a few names known around the world. Australians - and Australian businesses - are all over Asia and the developing world. Despite our small population, Australians are on a par with British and American ex-pats in much of Asia. When our racist sentiments back in Australia don't get in the way (the Curry-bashing story was one major obstacle to our reputation in India), Australians are respected as intelligent, practical people - capable of getting things done, and good to do business with.

7. Australia does not have the capital, the markets or even the labour force to become a self-sustaining economy. Like many developed countries, we are now a service economy. Australia could not return to the tariff-driven manufacturing economy of the post-war era even if we tried. Back in the 50s, Australia relied on British and American investment, such as Vestys in agriculture and Ford and GMH in heavy manufacturing. The British and American economies have since changed direction. Britain integrated its economy with Europe. The US abandoned its gold reserves, floated the US dollar and lost its terms of trade with the rest of the world. Manufacturing has now shifted to East Asia. Without importing most of our goods, exporting most of our crops and mineral resources, and without importing much of our skilled labour, Australia would be an economic basket case.

These are basic economic facts. Australia has never been economically self-sufficient and has always relied on immigration. The only way you can counter these facts is by using lies.

Financial deregulation has led to more capital entering Australia, and remember, the Australian economy is driven by foreign investment. With the exception of Kerry Packer and a few high-flyers in the 1980s, Australia has always been driven by foreign investment.

3. Without immigration, the economy would spiral into long-term, generational recession. Australia has an ageing population. If we didn't import doctors and nurses and IT consultants and all the rest, the cost of these services would spike.

While the European economy stays strong, less people choose to migrate. The White Australia Policy was discontinued in the 1970s, when the post-war European economy had all but recovered from WWII and was no longer shedding migrants. Australia was forced to turn to Asia to continue to "populate or perish".

5. Migrants, and in particular, refugees, make excellent workers and citizens. They do the jobs no one else wants - hence 711s staffed almost solely with Indian and Asian students. Those in the process of applying for visas are far less likely to commit crimes and have their visa applications rejected. Crime committed by refugees is statistically low.

Grin That's a real joke Peccar ....

we're importing that very type of person from the less civilised & primitive countries & cultures you say they should go to.

Such a contradiction ey?

Sprint, the Mechanic, Herbie, Bogey, Sore End, poor Cods - we imported them all.

Their own arguments on immigration are a contradiction.

And I bet that Australia, his constituents run a poor second & third to his ideology.

AND so it begins...

Australia's first female Muslim MP wants to change 18C race laws to include religion - so it is illegal to insult followers of Islam

Australia's first female federal Muslim MP Anne Aly wants racial discrimination laws broadened so it is illegal to insult followers of Islam.
The Egyptian-born politician's call comes only days after a motion was passed in Canada calling on the federal government to 'condemn Islamophobia'.
While Australia's Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull wants to remove the words 'insult', 'offend' and 'humiliate' from section 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act, Labor wants to go the opposite way.

this course of action by a leftie  is symptomatic of why the leftie is part of the problem , not part of the solution.

"attempt to insult someone" is seen as a problem??

but is it??

are people really that unsure of themselves, that ungrounded in core confidence that they need "universal approval" to "maintain state".

sure an insult might sting and someone being mean to you isnt pleasant but thats just life. life is harsh.  and until you accept that life is pretty harsh and completely unfair, youre screwed.

the point is what do you do about it.

and this is where lefties simply go down the slippery slope to mediocrity and follow the path of least resistance to making people a failure.

because when you feel pain and identify with it and let the environment determine your mental state...you go down.

and when you feel pain and use it as the emotional juice to effect change and propel you into an upward spiral...you go up.

when someone is mean to you , when you see a rich guy...its just so easy to be a victim or be envious and if you do, you have let the environment run your state and you will inevitably have a state crash.

but if you can harness pain to use it as a lesson in growth,
if you can look at a rich successful happy guy and study his success...the progress you can make is unlimited.

its a harsh world
we all want to move up
you cant move up without building massive resilience.
you cant build muscle without going to the gym and feeling pain
you cant build a business without the fear and ambiguity and chaos of solving problems.

if you think everyone has to be nice to you for you to "cope", you are screwed.

you need to have just that little bit of anger to fuel a response to take action to go up.

you see this in the great sports captains when their team is losing. they get a bit mad, they use that anger to focus and they move up.

you dont stay angry like that angry old grandpa who is always angry but you dont sit in the locker room at 1/2 time, when you are down, and get all butt hurt and start blaming the ref. you draw on core confidence, resilience and determination to make it happen and you enjoy the journey for the journey itself.  this is the way of the superior man and the leftie needs to stop always putting people on the path top mediocrity

The only person to be prosecuted under 18C was Andrew Bolt. He didn't just call a few Boongs some bad names, he used both his column and TV show to target specific Aboriginal people with the hope of ending their careers, and he used lies to do so.

So, sure. If Andrew Bolt, or any other shock jock or Tele columnist, were to use their position to lie about members of the Muslim community, I'd be quite happy for a vehicle like 18C being used to shut them down or force them to apologise.

We're not talking about one-off insults here, we're talking about protecting people from those in power - the Alan Joneses, the Andrew Bolts, the Ray Hadleys.

The media, and particularly the print media, has no laws to prevent the sort of targeted and sustained disinformation campaigns people like Bolt carry out.

bullshyte ..... he wrote an article regarding just what makes someone Aboriginal today.

His emphasis being on the number of people claiming to be Aboriginal/black/blackfella in Australia today that are "white".

He used the cliche ... White is the new black".

It wasn't about ending anyones career .. he was intention was exposing the hypocrisy of it.

A bunch of disgruntled white people who identify as Aboriginals over everything else took exception to it ...

said he was being ignorant/racist etc etc and sued him under 18c .... using taxpayers money.
