I don't think the government is the one building them.
Are those data centres all the same size?
It could be that the number of centres is dictated by geography, with actual usage intensity dictating size.
freediver,
But........if the 'Data Centre' boom, all turns to poo.....
'WHERE DOES THE BUCK STOP ???'1/ Why is there so little detail being revealed.....about how
the supply of power to these Data Centres will be achieved ?
[apparently, Data Centres need to be supplied with
HUGE amounts of reliable power.]
And will the owners of the Data Centres....pay for the full cost of the power that
they require,
to run them ?
Or will these costs.....end up being.....just be another public teat for another 'hungry mouth' to suck on ?
2/ Same question.....regards issues and resources that
need to be AVAILABLE for cooling these Data Centres ?
Why are we not seeing any
specific details being spelled out [regarding WHO is responsible for the FULL costs related to setting up and running these Data Centres] ?
Why can't 'someone' just spell out ALL of the details about
WHO IT IS, that is going to be responsible for all of the costs,
associated with setting up and running these 'Data Centres' ?
Are they going to be a REAL asset ?
Or a REAL liability ?
