Well ON has become the voice of the open revolt... the clearest sign ever of the deep discontent of the
Australian people.

I've long said I might give them a go to see what changes they can bring about in the other parties.

As der Chermans said in 1933, ve must form a government that will do something for the people, und ve can alvays ensure that the democratic process keeps der Partie under control of der Volk ultimately... und that it will not get out off kontrol... but then - we said that with der Zocialists as well und chust look at them...

What The People are seeking is the restoration of 'common sense' instead of all this high-flying fantasy they call ideology, that incredible skein of delusion and illusion that has frankly been used to pull the wool over people's eyes.

I warned Albo to stay away from politics of division and policies of exclusion.. but look what Labor has done since election into office...

Now - let us list the required changes:-

1. Abolition of votes disappearing into the maw of preference.

2. Restoration of the Future Fund to Australian shores and its folding into a single National Superannuation Future Fund for all (that might not sit well with Pauline herself who gains from it).

3. Abolition of mass immigration and unworthy immigration = a more cohesive society with real opportunity for all equally.

4. Abolition of AA/EEO/DEI to guarantee genuine equal opportunity for all on an open market.

You go on.. I'm busy today...

Coalition unveils plan for hundreds of thousands more immigrants than One Nation

Liberal leader Angus Taylor has unveiled the Coalition’s new immigration policy, which is lower than Labor’s target but will allow in hundreds of thousands more foreigners each year than under One Nation.

Mr Taylor announced the policy in Sydney on Tuesday, saying it would result in “the biggest cut to immigration in the history of this country” and be “budget neutral”.

He promised to cut net overseas migration to 100,000 per year for the first two years after the 2028 election, increasing to 130,000 and then 160,000 in the next two years. The policy also includes a cut in foreign student commencements, and the halving of the refugee intake to 10,000/year.

Net overseas migration was 305,000 in 2024-25 financial year, and Labor aims to bring it down to 225,000 by 2027-28, although it has exceeded all of its migration targets since forming government in 2022.

One Nation is promising net negative overseas migration for the first three years if elected in 2028, followed by a cap of 130,000 after that, along with a crackdown on illegal immigrants, and a ban on arrivals from “do not travel” countries.

Depending on departure numbers, this means the Coalition’s policy will result in hundreds of thousands more arrivals each year for the first three years, and possibly over a million more during a five-year period.

I would like you to grapple your mind to sternage of this savvy thinking...

There is much attention to the reality that Pauline Hanson has created of herself the lifetime President of her Party.... and that this is, in the minds of many, a dangerous concept.

Many years ago I considered establishing a party of my own. Thinking and thinking, as one must over such things, I naturally arrived at the conclusion that such a venture is precarious, since special interest groups would seek to be included, and pressure groups would inevitably build up – and in the truly and totally democratic party I envisaged – I would soon find myself on the outer and my party hijacked by someone else or some group I would least want to control it.

Therefore the only option was that I would have to be that same perpetual President or whatever – the single head at the top.

Some of you may have seen the posts I've made concerning membership of parties, where I've said that only if I were to be the lifetime plenipotentiary president.... that I did this for a joke at the time is not relevant to the reality... well – jokes often reflect reality.. plenipotentiary means 'with absolute power'..... from the Latin 'full of (or filled with) power' - something abhorrent to any democracy, so for me to say it is clearly a joke.

Now – the thing about Pauline Hanson is not whether or not she is the lifetime president ….. the sole issue is what powers are held by that president, and how can they be exercised … whether or not she is the PLENIPOTENTIARY president with absolute control over every detail (you see where that is leading).

ONLY when that president has that 'plenipotentiary' power is there danger – in a party where the president can be over-ruled by a majority vote from the party floor on issues and procedure – without losing the position – is there zero danger of a genuine neo-Fascist control.

ONLY where that president holds – literally – the power to hire and fire like some used car salesperson, to impose on the party who will be every one of its representatives and such, is there any clear and present danger to democracy.

I note, along those lines – and will await results – that APPLICATIONS are open for candidate positions for One Nation. YOU must investigate this for yourselves.

As an aside, the perpetual comments about Trump being a dictator are shown to be false by the same rules... he can be over-ridden by a democratic vote from his party and by the congress and senate. No ifs or buts....
