Australia has imposed over 1,800 sanctions against Russia in response to its invasion of Ukraine, targeting individuals, entities, and vessels across finance, defence, and energy sectors.

such as

Export Bans: Prohibitions on supplying machinery, aluminium ores, bauxite, alumina, luxury goods, and commercial drones to Russia.

Import Bans: Total restrictions on importing Russian oil, refined petroleum, natural gas, coal, and gold.

Meanwhile Russian oil derivatives such as petrol and diesel power Australia today. Labor looks the other way. Stupidity or hypocrisy ?

Trump announces deal with Russia to supply 300,000 tons of diesel ‘immediately’

US President Donald Trump said Russia has agreed to supply more than 300,000 tons of diesel fuel to the American and global markets “immediately”.

Trump said the deal happened after a “highly successful” discussion with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump added that Russia would then deliver ⁠3 million tons ⁠of diesel fuel within a short period of time.

Another 500,000 tons of fuel would be supplied in November and 1 million tonnes thereafter.

The US economy has struggled to with high prices, partially due to global uncertainty about fuel supplies caused by the war in Iran.
