There is no such thing as a closed loop turbine what you are thinking about in the primary closed loop of super hot water from the reactor which heats the secondary or open loop which produces steam for the turbine, the exhaust steam is then condensed and fed back into the secondary loop.
Regarding having the most to say, your 123,000 plus posts may be some indication.
You need to realise when you're outgunned and apologise for bloviating.
Bobby,
All secondary loops on High Temperature Hot water systems are Open loops, meaning that they can be vented to atmosphere if necessary, in the case of the steam submarines the secondary loop can be vented to the sea.
For example, if the condenser fails it can be isolated and the exhaust steam allowed to ioescape outside the hull.
I’ve worked on HTHW systems as used on the submarines, only with coal as fuel.
Typical out going temperature is 300deg Fahrenheit.
In industry secondary loops are numerous for such applications as sterilisers, domestic grade hot water, washing plants, small steam engines and in some rare cases, fireless locomotives.
Stop bloviating.
