Einy, when you asked us what the difference is between a power station and a submarine, did you have some kind of point, or were you just wasting everyone's time with your endless bloviating?

Same with your posts about wind powered submarines - bloviating?

Also walrusses - bloviating?

Also describing a submarine as either a "Steam submarine" or a "nuclear fuelled electricity generating power plant" - bloviating?

Your misinformation about delivery by 2030 - bloviating?

2032 apparently but that’s dependent upon blowouts in manufacturing times.

When did I post about walruses?

The so-called’’Nuclear Powered’’ submarines are steam powered as are all other ships which boil their water with nuclear reactors.

My only reference to wind powered submarines was to point out to you that early submarines used sails for power on the surface.
The early one that had a steam engine used it submerged or on the surface.
The famous British K boats used steam for surface propulsion and battery power submerged.

There is a very important difference between the reactors in submarines and most land based ones; those on subs are much safer.

Seems that we’re getting our first steam submarine next year.

Washington has revealed the first nuclear submarine that will deploy to Australia under the AUKUS agreement, five years after the $386 billion defence pact was signed.

The USS Colorado, a 10-year-old Virginia-class submarine, will make its new home at Western Australia's HMAS Stirling from late 2027, Defence Minister Richard Marles revealed in a joint statement with his US and British counterparts on Tuesday.

It's the first of up to four American submarines, and one from the UK, set to rotate through the base while Australian Defence Force personnel get to grips with owning and operating nuclear submarines.’’

So that will be the second nuclear reactor operated by Australia.

What truth? That we are getting a nuclear power plant by 2030? The closer you get to saying something true, the further you get from saying something relevant. You bloviate.

Have you figured out the difference between a submarine and a power plant yet, or do you still need us to explain it to you? And what was the point of asking, if not to give yourself a chance to bloviate more?

What truth.you ask?
The truth that we are getting our second nuclear reactor in 2027 not 2032[as previously corrected]
The truth that there is no such thing as a nuclear powered submarine or other ships.

Bet that you didn’t know about the early submarine that used its steam engine both submerged and on the surface.

Bet you were part of the unthinking multitude that celebrated the start of the current millennium a year early.

Stick around, you’ll learn a lot.

That is not a truth. That is pointless bloviating.

Does it make you feel important?

Do you have a point that is actually relevant to the thread? Or do you only want to make it about how important your bloviating is?

Further lesson:

‘’In 1800, the French Navy built a human-powered submarine designed by Robert Fulton, the Nautilus. It also had a sail for use on the surface and so exhibited the first known use of dual propulsion on a submarine. It proved capable of using mines to destroy two warships during demonstrations. The French eventually gave up on the experiment in 1804, as did the British, when Fulton later offered them the submarine design.’’

OK, then kindly explain how the so called Nuclear Powered Submarines are nuclear powered; how does this nuclear power actually move the vessel?

It heats up water in a closed loop steam turbine.
It emits no carbon dioxide - it emits only heat that is used to do work.
