Petrol Rise: the Sequel ⛽️

Up 30c in just a few weeks.

Now if only all these countries that blame Trump actually pull their finger out of their bums and get in and help destroy Terrorism from Iran 🇮🇷  they might not have a reason to whinge & whine like lazy cry babies.

The benefit here is that Trump's Eucatastrophe has forced Australia 🇦🇺  to address its actual Catastrophe of not refining its own resources for Fuel.
Wether the ALP just talk it up that they will or actually do it, is another thing.

The longer USA 🇺🇸  work alone in this, the higher the price of fuel ⛽️  will be here.

This time last year, I was paying about $1.70/L for premium unleaded. I thought what a rip off. But it would be the new normal. Now, it is around $2.20/L because Trump wants to take his voters' focus away from the Epstein files by bombing Iran, for some undeclared reason.

I got new tyres put on the front of my car about a month ago. Then I had a wheel alignment. The fuel efficiency in my car has increased at least 25%. I try to use my car as little as possible. I was going to go for a drive down to Gladstone next month to get the demons out of my head about my navigational ability. But, it seems like I will have to save up some money for repairs to the car. Paying $20 a week more in fuel might not seem like much. But it is that $80 I could have had in my pocket.

The only thing good about fuel price rises is that the Americans have been spoiled with cheap petrol prices for so long that they now are feeling the pinch of fueling their vehicles. If they cut back on their vehicle usage, we are going to see a price drop in oil.

Of course, if Trump hadn't started his illegal little two week "excursion" in Iran at the end of February then none of this would be happening (as has been pointed out here many, many times).

Oops, he did it again.

Oil prices could surge to US$150 a barrel as the widening Middle East conflict threatens major supply routes

Oil prices could skyrocket to $150 as escalating Middle East conflicts severely choke critical supply chains and vital energy routes.
Intensifying geopolitical tensions and blocked maritime chokepoints threaten a massive energy crisis, pushing Brent crude toward unprecedented highs.

All together now: THANK YOU DONALD.

(Glad I got rid of my car a year ago).

Now we have Saxon Trump back in power with the Right prevailing in a historically always LEFT USA.
The Left still cling on in Great Britain and Australia ironically, two very Right orientated political traditionally.

Will, Britain and Australia return to the Right to aid Trump again?

I guess mainland European powers didn't like it when Britain and its Commonwealth found a friend in Trump.  Wink
In return, they took over Britain & its Commonwealth (like Aust & Canada) to oppose Trump.
Funny world innit?  Grin Cheesy

How does bombing a country like Iran bring about ending terrorism in the world? If anything, we are likely to see a back and forth terrorism enabled around the world because of the United States bombing Iran.

Iran was too busy with their democratic protesters to be bothered with international terrorism. And Trump had his first term as president to do something about Iran. What changed in the last 9 years that led to Trump putting together a half-arse attempt against Iran?

From your link
Quote:
The Houthis’ foreign ministry said on Tuesday that navigation through the Bab al-Mandeb Strait is safe, blaming Saudi Arabia for trying to “mislead the international community” about the waterway.

In a statement carried by the Houthi-controlled Saba news agency, the Houthis’ foreign ministry also said the group has every right to target “hostile Saudi military buildups”.

“If the world desires stability and calm in the region, it must tell Saudi Arabia: ‘Enough interference in Yemeni affairs,'” said the Houthi ministry.

The Yemen - Saudi war started under Obama the ceasefire was broken recently.

UN brokered a ceasefire in 2022.

Saudis have asked US for help Trump said no.

Saudis recently signed a Mecca Pact with Turkey and Pakistan if they honour that agreement they will help Saudis.
There are reports Syrian jihadis backed by Turkey have passed through Saudi and in Yemen fighting Houthi rebels.

The Saudi Yemen war started under Obama nothing to do with Trump.

Hopefully Great Britain 🇬🇧 , Australia 🇦🇺 and Canada 🇨🇦  will vote the Right back in so Trump can get some honest help finally.

Bahlil Lahadalia, Indonesia's Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources announced on August 5 that the first shipment of Russian oil had already arrived in Indonesia. He also noted that Indonesian authorities are preparing a long-term contract for oil purchases from Russia.

According to him, the authorities are identifying priority supply sources by taking into account the global situation, economic viability, and compliance with existing regulations. The minister emphasized that in securing energy resources for the country, the authorities are guided by the interests of the population and the principles of an independent foreign policy.

Agreements on oil purchases were reached following the visit of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto to Moscow in April.
