Client-attorney privilege is gone:

Communism is here:
From tomorrow - lawyers have to dob you in if they have suspicions about you.

The old law says:
Client-attorney privilege (often called legal professional privilege)
is a legal rule that protects confidential communications between you and your lawyer.
It ensures you can speak freely to receive legal advice.

The communism is getting worse every day.
Nothing is secret - not even a confession to a priest.
The Govt. has to know everything about you.

The onus for all this should be on Banks, solely.  If the money comes from a Bank, then nothing else matters.

I'm glad I have retired.

The problem with this is the people it is targeted at are the people who can most easily side step it. Criminals have lawyers and such in their pocket and are not going to report anything.

It will only apply in the end to average people who have likely done nothing wrong or people that these organisations want revenge on. I can see it as an option if you say sack your financial adviser over poor performance, he could easily just say well cop this.

All done in secrecy behind your back supported by dodgy documentation.

bobby,

Does 'The Govt.' know everything about ISLAM ???

.

bobby,

Such trivialities [even here in Australia] are of are of little concern to persons who are followers of ISLAM.

Did you know.......that ISLAMIC law [even here in Australia]
obligates the devout follower of ISLAM
to only respect ISLAMIC judges [and law] and ISLAMIC judgements ?

Quote:

Taqiyya

Speaking is a means to achieve objectives.

If a praiseworthy aim is attainable through both telling the truth and lying, it is unlawful to accomplish it through lying because there is no need for it.
When it is possible to achieve such an aim by lying but not by telling the truth, it is permissible to lie if attaining the goal is permissible..., and obligatory to lie if the goal is obligatory.
...One should compare the bad consequences entailed by lying to those entailed by telling the truth, and if the consequences of telling the truth are more damaging, one is entitled to lie…”

If keeping a covenant with a non-moslem is not to their personal advantage.......
THE DEVOUT MOSLEM DOES NOT HAVE TO HONOUR THAT COVENANT
[WHICH THEY MADE WITH A NON-MOSLEM].....

From the Koran, Hadith;

Allah told Mohammed, it is OK to not fulfil the oaths you make.
i.e. If you find something better, you are free to go, and make a better deal, and abandon your first oath.

Koran 66:2

"The Prophet said, "If I take an oath and later find something else better than that, then I do what is better and expiate my oath."."

bobby,

THE POTENTIAL CONSEQUENTIAL COST,
OF CULTURAL BASED 'DIFFERENCES'....

The devout follower of ISLAM may be subject to Australian laws......within Australian law courts.

But the devout follower of ISLAM is NOT subject to Australian law.....within a mosque.

Agree.  If I have managed to unlawfully get my hands on substantial cash, I reckon I'd be able to dupe a conveyancing clerk with forgeries.

Of course - there is an exception for Muslims.
