Denmark just completed its first full calendar month running entirely on renewable electricity 31 consecutive days where domestic wind and solar generation covered 100 percent of national electricity demand with zero fossil fuel input at any hour of any day.
Danish grid operator Energinet confirmed that March 2025 became the first complete month in any developed country's history where renewable generation met national demand at every minute without exception. Offshore wind provided 78 percent of generation, onshore wind contributed 14 percent, and solar covered 8 percent. On days when combined generation exceeded domestic consumption, Denmark exported surplus electricity to Norway, Sweden, and Germany through interconnectors, demonstrating regional energy solidarity.
Denmark achieved this milestone without any new storage installation relying entirely on grid interconnectors with neighboring countries as virtual storage, demonstrating that a highly interconnected European grid can provide 100 percent renewable reliability without requiring expensive dedicated storage infrastructure.
Hi ya sprint.
Yep
VIRTUAL 100 %.
Achieved by exporting excess solar during the day and RELYING ON NEIGHBOURS BURNING COAL AND GAS AT NIGHT

And that's just electricity which makes up 25 % of ENERGY use.
It powers their washing machines at midday, not their cars.
And if everyone recharges their cars at night, you better build a whole lot more gas and coal fired plants for when the wind doesn't blow.
Net zero is dead.
Europe will be scrambling to buy Russian gas and oil
And that will make them be forced to comply with Russia's terms in the Ukraine.
Energy security is not only economic security it is military security.
Why do you think albo is in Singapore and Brunei grovelling?
Is he after more solar panels ?
