I knew there were old burials under the Vic market, but I only thought about less than a dozen, I was kind of surprised to learn there are thousands upon thousands!

It made me realise how this shouldn’t have happened, how disrespectful for the dead, that once lived in early times in Melbourne and their history and all those still alive that may be related …all covered over.

I’m in 2 frames minds about this. It’s done but how harsh to do something like this from governing people in power at the time.
