Trump aside, the majority of US Westernism has been dependent on archaic Westernism which created Nazi Germany and the Confederacy - both failing to modernise. As too are France & the Democrats.
Australia has been fortunate for most of its political history, to have followed it's British sponsor. But if late, it really has swung towards the US influence of Democratic archaic Westernism. Probably why the ALP are failing to keep up with the times and meet 'global' demands for success.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Commonwealth of Nations is the eventual winner of all global political efforts to bring the world together.
