Beirut, Lebanon – On March 24, Lebanon’s Foreign Minister Youssef Raggi declared Iran’s ambassador to Beirut persona non grata and gave him until March 29 to leave the country.

But two days after the deadline, Ambassador Mohammad Reza Sheibani is still in Lebanon.

The US military presented the president with a plan to seize nearly 500 kilograms of highly enriched uranium in Iran, which includes the delivery of earthmoving equipment and the construction of a runway for cargo planes to remove the nuclear material.

The Donald is grabbing them by the pussy - France and Spain have said 'no US jets' - so he's said -"Next time you're in trouble with Vlad or whoever - don't expect US help."

The message is clear - the countries directly affected, which he says the US is not, by the closure of Hormuz Strait, must shoulder the burden of opening it again.  That means Britain, Australia and all the rest must take up a watch ... and The Donald's idea is that the US is not going to use its troops to police international situations... will not be the global police for everyone else's benefit while thery do nothing.

Fair enough...

As for strategy - the Ayatollahs are swallowing the bait...

Word for Today:

'Ayatollash'.... (n), (v) ...

(n)
1.  a whip an ayatollah uses
2.  a thing used to whip an ayatollah

(v)
3.  the act of lashing an Ayatollah with a whip

e.g. the crowd whipped the Ayatollah out of town...
the Ayatollah was public whipped to the bone ....

There'll always be an England ... just one these days with no honour...

This land of such dear souls, this dear dear land,
Dear for her reputation through the world,
Is now leased out, I die pronouncing it,
Like to a tenement or pelting farm:
England, bound in with the triumphant sea,
Whose rocky shore beats back the envious siege
Of watery Neptune, is now bound in with shame,
With inky blots and rotten parchment bonds.

The UK will send the landing ship RFA Lyme Bay to help open the Strait of Hormuz. The ship is equipped with a fleet of unmanned craft that will assist in removing sea mines.

"Right now, Israel is doing the west’s work in combatting Islamic terrorists.
It does so despite our elected officials sending mixed messages, calling for ‘restraint’ and pretending that the Middle East would somehow be more stable if it were dominated by the jihadists.
Flashback to reality; Barack Obama already tried that with the Arab Spring, and the outcome was the same across anything that Jimmy Carter, the Bushes, Clinton and other administrations attempted in terms of ‘nation building’.
Instead of standing up to Islamic terrorists, the west allows itself to be intimidated by them. By their sheer numbers, by their destructiveness, and by their fanatical willingness to die.

But Israel, a country tiny enough to be walked across, has stood up to an entire region.
Israel is 80 times smaller than Iran in size, with a population 9 times smaller, and yet Israel has done what so many western administrations fear to do.
Why? Because Israel understands what the west denies.
Israel knows that the calls for genocide are real and that the alternative to action is death.
Faced with the threat of annihilation, Israel has instead brought death to the IRGC leaders of Iran’s death machine, to its commanders, and it has struck at the machinery of Iran’s ballistic missile and nuclear program gearing up to kill millions.
Israel’s secret isn’t just brilliant strategy, but also its grip on reality.
Israel understands what Islam is, and Israel understands Iran’s ‘Twelver Shia’ apocalyptic ideology that is wholly dedicated to Israel’s destruction.
Israel takes Iran seriously and acts seriously. It faces down death threats and delivers death to the Islamic enemies of western civilisation.
This is what serious nations do.
Unserious ones play ‘word games’ and take refuge in wishful, delusional thinking.
As the west confronts not only Iran, but Islamic terrorists around the world and in our own countries, it’s time that we get serious too.
It’s time to support the two countries spearheading the fight, Israel and America."

"According to Ayatollah Khomeini, anyone who did not believe that prophet Muhammad was a messenger of Allah is defined as an infidel, and the only thing to do is to convert him, enslave him or kill him.
He was merely putting a twist on Surah 9:29 of the Quran, but this is what he said:
“If one permits an infidel to continue in his role as a corrupter of the earth, the infidel’s moral suffering will be all the worse. If one kills the infidel, and this stops him from perpetrating his misdeeds, his death will be a blessing to him.”
Opposing the Ayatollahs made America one of the first ‘infidels’ in line for destruction.
Iran kidnapped US diplomats, bombed US Marines, and abducted and tortured American people, brutally killing them in the most grotesque ways because its regime believes in “Death to America.”
Not as a metaphor or a ‘complicated relationship’ but as violently graphic as jihadists jumping up and down on the body of US Navy diver Robert Stethem and then putting a microphone up to his face to broadcast the screams.
Or skinning the face of Colonel William R. Higgins before castrating, killing him and dumping his body near a mosque.
That was ‘Death to America’ in action and practice.

The Israelis, who unluckily live much closer to Iran than Americans do, decided to ignore the Carter administration diplomatic dreamworld about a deal with Iran.
Israel understood that Iran was serious, and Israel acted.
Whatever the Trump administration has done about Iran, it is monumentally foolish to pretend that the Islamic terrorist regime was never serious about wanting ‘The Great Satan’ (America) dead.
And it’s even more foolish for other countries (like my country of Australia) to think that we are immune from Iran’s threat.
I have heard many cries of “Australia first” and “It’s not our war” from pundits and influencers who have already forgotten that in 2024, our Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) revealed that the IRGC (at the direction of the Iranian government) had carried out at least two Islamic terror attacks in Australia.
These included the firebombing of the Adass Israel Synagogue in Melbourne on December 6 2024, and the firebombing of a kosher restaurant in Sydney on October 20 2024.
Then came the gut punch some of us saw coming, the massacre of 15 Australians at Bondi Beach on December 14 2025. Our deadliest terror attack and worst mass shooting in 30 years.
So much for “It’s not our war”.

SERIOUS COUNTRIES TAKE DEATH THREATS SERIOUSLY.

"On May 17th 2025, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei told an enraged crowd of Islamists that President Trump’s statements weren’t even “worthy of a response.”
As the crowd chanted “Death to America”, Iran’s leader called Trump a liar, and warned that, “America should leave the region, and leave it will.”
Then he called for the destruction of the Jewish State while the crowd chanted, “Death to Israel.”
The only question was whether America and Israel would take the regime’s threats seriously.
That question was answered when Israel, after two decades of attempting to get the mostly fictitious ‘international community’ to do something about Iran’s nuclear program, finally took action.
The endless negotiations in pursuit of an impossible deal  (that would somehow allow Iran to have nuclear technology without nuclear weapons) were based on refusing to listen to what the Islamic terror regime itself was saying, and refusing to believe that it meant it.
To believe in a nuclear deal, one has to believe that a terror state that obtains electricity from abundant natural gas resources for a fraction of the cost of the world’s electricity, wanted a ‘civilian’ nuclear program.

To believe in any kind of deal with Iran, one also has to believe, (as the New York Times once insisted) that Iran “has a complicated relationship with the phrase” and that when it says, “Death to America” and “Death to Israel”, it really doesn’t mean it.
Ayatollah Khamenei himself explained in 2023:
“The situation between America and Iran is this: When you chant ‘Death to America!’ it is not just a slogan – it is a policy,”
What did that policy look like in practice?
“‘Death to America” means death to Trump,” Khamenei had previously warned.
In 2024, an Iranian operative was charged in a plot by the IRGC, (Iran’s terror arm) to assassinate Donald Trump before Election Day.
The “complicated relationship” wasn’t so complicated then, and it’s definitely not a metaphor.
“Death to Trump” literally means trying to kill the president. “Death to America” means the destruction of America, and “Death to Israel” means exactly what it says.
Apologists for the Jihadist regime in Tehran pretend that it’s just about the west’s ‘foreign policy’.
But beyond only chanting for the destruction of America, Israel and England, the chants at the Khamenei speech included “Death to the hypocrites and infidels” (the deaths of all non-Muslims and insufficiently devout Muslims) and death to those who oppose the supreme power of Islamic jurisprudence in the form of its Ayatollahs, Mullahs and other theocratic tyrants."
