Honestly, it feels like society is getting cooked by fringe woke indoctrination, and the core issue is that vibe matters more than reality now. If something feels morally trendy or looks good on social media, it automatically wins. Facts, history, and nuance get tossed because they don’t match the aesthetic. Algorithms reward outrage and validation, not thinking, so people just repeat whatever gets claps.
You see this with how trans culture is pushed online. This isn’t about hating anyone, people deserve respect. But impressionable kids are constantly told that normal insecurity or discomfort means something is fundamentally wrong with them. Puberty is weird and confusing for everyone, yet the online vibe says you need a label immediately. Feeling validated matters more than asking whether these ideas actually help long term, and that can mess with how young people think about themselves.
Then there’s Greta Thunberg. She started with climate stuff, and now she’s jumping into huge, complicated issues like the Gaza war and other global causes. It doesn’t matter if she’s out of her depth. The vibe is that she’s morally pure, so questioning her takes is basically forbidden.
And on top of all this, people are told they should feel ashamed of Western civilisation. Why? The West gave us democracy, free speech, science, human rights, and living standards people literally risk their lives to reach. It’s not perfect, but no civilisation is. Teaching young people to hate their own society instead of improving it is backwards. When vibes replace reality, pride turns into shame, and thinking turns into conformity.
