They didn't disappear. They put on ICE masks.
Over and over again, ICE agents are exposed with Nazi tattoos. And even when they conceal their identities, their behaviour gives them away. Racial profiling. Targeting non-violent immigrants. Snatching people outside of courtrooms while they are complying with immigration hearings. Dragging people from hospital beds. Turning up at schools and daycare centres.
They assault women. They "detain" children, zip-tying them because they are too small for handcuffs.
People are made to disappear by masks thugs taken into unmarked cars, warehoused in ICE facilities both onshore and offshore, denied due process, denied the ability to contest their detention or deportation. Many are forced to work while imprisoned, effectively slave labour, earning a dollar a day so they can afford a five-dollar phone call to tell their families they've been taken.
Parents are abducted and their children left unattended.
All of this happens without warrants, without suspicion of a crime, based purely on skin colour. People are being targeted because of their racial identity. That includes American citizens, citizens whose constitutional rights are stripped away, who are denied even the chance to prove their citizenship before they're imprisoned.
And laughably this include native americans because they look brown too.
These agents routinely refuse to identify themselves. They openly disregard their own departmental guidelines and procedures, assuming they were trained in them at all. What they are doing is not law enforcement, it is terror.
Shooting clergy in the face with pepper rounds. Attacking peaceful protesters. Breaking into homes and vehicles.
Now JD Vance wants to send them door-to-door.
Who cares about the Constitution, right? So long as it's your racist white supremacist thugs, deputised as federal agents who are abusing their powers...

The difference between these people and historical Nazis is not one of method, only of target. They are not targeting Jews, they are enforcing white supremacy by other means.
So wipe the tears away and open your eyes. They are not being compared to Nazis because of some abstract association with Trump. They are being compared to Nazis because they are behaving like them.
If you don't like that comparison, tell them to change their behaviour.
