A bullet didn't go anywhere near his ear.

He was cut by a piece of plastic shrapnel that broke off from the overhead speakers.

Moreover, the guy with the gun was a MAGA cult member.

sadroo do you deny that the ICE agent was struck by this woman with her car?.

All law enforcement have the same guidelines when it comes to dealing with people in vehicles and they all say that LEOs should not stand in front of a vehicle and that they are not allowed to fire a weapon into the vehicle unless there is a clear and immediate danger to them or others. The reason for this is due to the risk of stray bullets targeting a moving vehicle  hitting innocent people. In short, the ICE agent here failed to follow protocol. He needs to be arrested.

Guidelines? ICE agents now get six weeks training. Their job is to mask up, raid the tinted races and cable-tie any illegals they find for processing.

ICE agents used to get six months training. Back then, their job was to investigate visa overstayers and asylum seekers who missed their court dates. They were actually quite meticulous. Unlike US Border Patrol, they had a reputation for being thorough.

Todd Lyons, the new Acting Director of ICE, now answers directly to Stephen Miller, who back in March 2025, imposed a quota of 3000 seizures a day.

That's over a million people a year. Homeland Security can't possibly detain - or deport - such numbers, so most are released.

The agency relies on the power of fear, claiming 1.9 million people have "self deported" under the new administration. Stephen Miller defines the policy as "maximum deterrence".

Facilities like Alligator Alcatraz have been built to punish foreigners and maximise pain and discomfort. Anyone with a questionable visa or residency status can be sent there, even those with a legitimate work or travel status.

As a result, the tourism sector has seen the biggest hit since covid, with numbers down over 20%. Hotel vacancy rates in Las Vegas, LA and other tourist centres have soared, and numbers are only dropping further.

US unemployment has risen to 4.6%, currently half a percent higher than Joe Biden's last month in office, and rising. Overall, the US economy is being kept afloat by a share market bubble in AI stocks.

Average wage growth is around 3.8%, just above an inflation rate of 3.1%, but the margins tell a different story. SNAP assistance, health insurance subsidies and other social safety net benefits have all been slashed. Income inequality is at its highest level since the Great Depression, spiking further upwards. 2025's tax and spending cuts have led to pockets of extreme poverty.

This is the real Trump project. Of course, it wouldn't be a proper project without the element of cruelty. For Trump, winning requires a loser. The bigger the loss, the bigger the win, a zero-sum game fundamental to Trump's so-called Art of the Deal.

Trump's top advisor, Stephen Miller, is celebrating the ICE shooting, along with two more in Portland yesterday, as a victory.

In the first administration, they referred to Miller as Goebbels. Even Trump saw Miller as a racist zealot, rolling his eyes and describing him as a total weirdo.

In the second administration, Trump sees Miller as having his finger on the pulse of MAGA, elevating him to deputy Chief Of Staff, number three after Suzie Wiles. Apart from his self-expressed pleasure in creating chaos and pain, Miller has another virtue, so important in the Trump administration.

Stephen Miller is reported to be the most obsequious suckhole in the West Wing. He spends his time amplifying his DL's rhetoric and singing his master's praises.

Miller, of course, is too autistic to run for prez, but if DL were to appoint anybody, it would be a sycophant like Stephen Miller, someone who could never win and outshine DL.

Trump's Achilles heel, of course, is his vanity. This week, he invaded a sovereign country, seized its ruler and declared himself in charge of Venezuela. Basking in the glory of this, he went on to endorse the murder of a US citizen, taken out by one of Stephen Miller's shock troops.

By all accounts, Trump made the decision to invade after seeing Maduro dancing on stage at a political rally, mocking Trump.

Renee Good was shot after she smiled at ICE agents and attempted to move her car.

For all of his ability to seize and push the limits of power, Trump has become intoxicated by it. No one in his administration questions his judgement and he takes no advice, not even security briefings.

For Machiavelli, the most important trait for a ruler is mastery over his emotions. Trump has ignored Machiavelli's most important piece of advice to rulers: banish the flatterers from the kingdom.

Kristi Noem, Pete Hegseth, Marco Rubio and JD Vance are no more than sycophants, any credibility they may once have had destroyed by their obvious lies, broken promises, but most importantly, their perverted deference to him, utterly embarassing to watch.

Stephen Miller never had any credibility to begin with. He's never pretended to be anything other than a political troll, the expression of Trump's id. He has destroyed what was once a reasonably respectable, law-abiding government agency and turned it into a masked mob, an advance guard of suburban shock troops, targeting the tinted races and killing American citizens.

We will make America safe again, no?

One of your DL's agents just killed a law-abiding Christian mother, dear boy, so I'm curious.

Has he offered his thoughts and prayers to the victim and her family in their hour of need?

I think we can all agree if the agent was not struck by the car then he might not have a case and if he was struck by the car then he might have a case.

If you watched the video, you’d see he isn’t struck by the car and DHS policy states officers are not to stand in front of vehicles, nor shoot at moving vehicles.

He didn't "stand in front of the vehicle". Look at the video. The driver reversed the vehicle and swung the nose round, at which point the police officer suddenly found himself directly in front of it. So he pointed his gun at the driver. The moron driver then drove forward, so he shot her, while narrowly escaping being struck by the vehicle.

The other officer shouted out her to get out of the car while the vehicle was stationary or changing directions. It's not like he tried to yell at a driver going past at 60 km/h.

Also, it is not clear whether he was actually struck or not. What is clear is that if he had not taken evasive action, he would have been struck and injured.

Good point, FD. If the agent didn't terminate her, she may well have gone into hiding and evaded justice entirely.

In fact, it's equally plausible that she planned to return to the scene of the crime and run down more agents. By taking such swift action, he saved the lives of at least three agents, possibly more.

And what's to say she didn't have the names and addresses of the agents' families? As Kristi said, a vehicle is a dangerous weapon. The moron woman could have been planning to park her car out the front of the agents' homes.

Agreed, Sir. DL has an incredible immune system, partly the result of his own powers, but also his awesome genes.

He had an uncle at MIT, remember? A genius. The longest serving professor in American history.

You told us all this back in 2024, do you recall?

Three others were also hit, one fatally.

“The failures that led to the tragic events of July 13 were not entirely isolated to the campaign event itself, or the days preceding it. Preexisting issues in leadership and training created an environment in which the specific failures identified above could occur. Secret Service personnel with little to no experience in advance planning roles were given significant responsibility, despite the July 13 event being held at a higher-risk outdoor venue with many line of sight issues, in addition to specific intelligence about a long-range threat. Further, some of the Secret Service agents in significant advance planning roles did not clearly understand the delineation of their responsibilities,” the report states.
