Even the improved diet and relative lack of drugs and relative security from the violence of their own 'mob' in town and the drug dealers etc doesn't seem to have slowed down their heart attacks.

"Deaths in custody:
There were 30 deaths in custody in 2024. This includes 11 people who were on remand at the time.
Total deaths (custody and police operations):
In 2024, 48 deaths were reported to the Coroner as occurring either in custody or as a result of a police operation."

It's all nonsense - of course any death is lamentable.... blah, blah, blah .. and distressing to the families, blah blah blah ... nothing special about Aborigines.  On top of that EVERY death in custody gets a full investigation - again Abos are nothing special and nor should they be.

Is that any real issue involved here?

"These figures reflect the entrenched over-representation of First Nations peoples in the criminal justice system — a systemic issue that compounds the risks and vulnerabilities contributing to the rising number of deaths in custody," Magistrate O'Sullivan said."

Criminal is as criminal does, suh!! .. 'entrenched over-representation'?  Well they need to tighten up their act then and move into the 21st Century and stop all the lawless garbage oo many of them carry on with.. get out of the Stone Age... and the stoned age, man.

Got the Westpac chopper up the road - went up for a keenie-meenie ... met the lass who lives at the end of the dead end there - she plays NRLW for Cronulla... nice lass... she assures me that house is the druggo's house... probably got some bad Ice or something.. they're the arseholes who run around firing off guns and shooting deer with arrows and leaving them injured and carrying the arrows around... for no reason.  Got the quick response 4WD, an ambulance and the chopper now - expect the coppers some time soon.
