We all know the "biggest sin" he committed was nothing more than truthfully pointing out that Trump showed no grief over Kirk's death.

And now, after watching Trump and the MAGA circus shamelessly exploit that death, turning it into a grotesque WWE-style pageant complete with fireworks, entrance themes, Trump's little dance routine and his usual threats, it's beyond obvious he doesn't care about Kirk at all.

That alone vindicates Kimmel's comments.

Maybe that explains why he's back on air. That or, you know, the constitution?

Though if we're honest, it's probably got more to do with the fact that so many people were cancelling Disney+ that their cancellation page couldn't keep up.

Money talks. And increasingly in the US, it's the so-called "radical leftists" with higher education and stable careers who actually have disposable income. Meanwhile, the traditional MAGA voter base, working in industries first gutted by tariffs and Trump's self-defeating trade wars, are the ones copping the fallout.

They don't have the buying power they used to, so to speak, and it's only getting worse.

The businesses that once eagerly lined up behind Trump for short-term profits are starting not just to recognise, but to feel, the cost of their own short-sightedness.

Now, what about all the other people that lost their lives?
