Again, it's not asked in the context of the trans situation. These men are far more triggered byt trans women that they are by trans men.
I'm not going to debate with someone who either refuses to read what is put to them or fails to process it. Ask Crappler .This post and you last one were unnecessary.
That you can't see the connection says more about you than you know.
Most men aspire to be the ideal man... that some women want to be men is more easily accepted than are those men who want to be women... they're deviating 180 from the ideal.
We all know (and fear!) that there is no such state as 100% male... some feminine traits persist after childhood in all males...
I acknowledged the connection in my first response to you. Don't be disingenuous.
You are correct that gender roles are ascribed in an oppressively all-consuming way to all girls, boys, men and women. We know these gender roles differ from society to society with so much variance, some societies don't even have them.
The way pressure is put on people today is a result of a pervasive patriarchy that has remained intact for centuries in the western world. It is now at odds with research and is flailing ... throwing the brosphere and alternate facts at us to claw it's fingernails back in. And my has it done so; and with sickening results. Look no further than just how much of that movement relies on the abuse, assault and even trafficking of women and girls.
May i suggest you watch this weeks Dateline on SBS, with the second episode due next week on Trad Wives. No surprises there.
Yet none of this delves into just why they are so much more furious with trans women than they are with trans men. Sure there are low hanging explanations such as fear of accidental intimate interest or deluded chivarly but these, while verifiable, don' taccount for the obsessive demand that everyone tell them what a woman is.
I would say that it's every bit about ownership of women and demands on men not to step off the ladder of hierarchy. We covered all of this in why gay men are hated but lesbians are fetishised (unless they're not hot then they are ridiculed and dismissed). There's no unifying principle here. It's as though we're talking about two different species.
